Great location. Great breakfast. A bit run down but being in the park was great.

Old place but in the best location in the area, very friendly and good food

Comfortable stay at the park
Nice stay in the park. One drawback is you have to drive elsewhere for dinner on some nights and the roads are along the mountain. When we stayed, the restaurant was closed Wednesdays and Tuesdays. Breakfast was hot and tasty and available every day.
Adam, 2-night trip

Beautiful property with friendly employees

The location of this lodge wins. It is in the park and in the woods. It is perfect for exploring half of the park one day then continuing on to explore the other half the next day. The dining room is quaint and has excellent food, but for limited hours.

In the heart of Sequoia
Great location, simple lodge but convenient. Very nice staff, would recommend.

Stay would have been great if we were told the hours of the breakfast and shop opening. Everything else was very straightforward
Kathryn, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Property is convenient inside the park. Dining room was closed for dinner with no advance notice and nowhere else near to eat. Room was no frills and barely clean. Front desk and store closed at 7 pm. Staff were nice.
Debbie, 1-night trip

What you would expect from a mountain resort. Front desk and country store closes at 8 PM and the nearest food options (not great) are about 40 mins away. Buy some ramen from the store and spare yourself a drive.

Todd at Lodge was great and very helpful. Breakfast and Dinner were great. Especially for a park. Todd was very helpful and had many roles. Very friendly, he was the cook and did a great job on the meals.

Kings Sequoia National Park
We were in a National park ,very remote! Stoney Creek lodge was very welcoming. The lodge food and people were fantastic !

Staying within the park was a blessing. The morning breakfast buffet was very nice, while the sister restaurants were exceptional-the trout meal was a treat.
James, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

The staff was very snotty and unfriendly. The restaurant had only one employee working it and serving the customers. The continental breakfast was cold. They didn't start serving until 8:00am.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Stoney Creek Lodge, with its charm and superior customer service. The rooms were clean and functional. The staff were warm and helpful with advice on outdoor excursion recommendations. The one item that surprised us was the small diner that included more than pizza as we had seen in advertisements. They also included a complimentary morning continental breakfast.
Michael, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Cant' beat the location. Overpriced for what it is. The "hot breakfast" was terrible.
Nicole, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Out in the middle of the national park, a comfortable lodge. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable for a night's stay. There is a convenience store and a small restaurant. We had pizza in the restaurant and it was mediocre. But it is the only restaurant around so at least it was a hot meal! The morning breakfast was quite good, however. We enjoyed our stay.
Gregory, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Like the staff told us, It's like inside camping, better than a tent!
JAMES, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The room smelt heavily of cleaner fluids, even while leaving all the windows open. Other than that, we loved the convenience of the location in Sequoia National Forest in between Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.
Katherine, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

We enjoyed staying “in” the park. The lodge was quiet at night. We could see so many stars! No AC, but ceiling fan and a fan were provided. The room was clean, but there was a strong, unpleasant odor from the cleaning solutions I guess? If you stay in a National Park, this was just right.
Eileen, 1-night trip

Staff very helpful. Opened a stuck window. NO problem with getting ice, and more drinking water.
Andrew, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The property was not air conditioned and we were not offered a fan even though they were available. Meals were only available after 4. The staff was very helpful and helped my husband who is disabled. We would stay there again
