Really nice hotel. Pleasant stay. Lots to like. Beautiful grounds. Nothing bad at all. Unscheduled maintenance closed splash pool and we came from New Zealand just for this so it really tainted the stay. We got ten minutes notice it was closing.

Family friendly but needs a refresh
The resort was really family-friendly and we had a nice stay overall. The only "negative" we experienced were a large beetle/bug in our bathroom. The resort feels a little outdated, rooms a bit tired and need a refresh. Our bathroom fixtures were wobbly and the couch had some stains on the cushions. Not a huge deal, but for the level of the hotel, we expected a bit more.

Outdated property, not worth the price
Very disappointed in our stay here. This was our first stay at the Omni Las Palmas and will not be back! We were hesitant about staying here because of some negative reviews but decided to give it a shot. I wouldn’t consider this a 4 star resort. The rooms are outdated and have a very musty smell. On the first night we found COCKROACHES in the room that we had to get rid of on our own. We called the front desk manager and she told us they were “water bugs”. They were definitely cockroaches and it’s completely unacceptable to have any types of bugs in the room. A day later we went to Joshua Tree for the day and when we returned 6 hours later our front door was left wide open by the housekeeping staff for hours. Fortunately nothing was stolen! The golf course needs a lot of work, dead grass everywhere and looks nothing like the pictures on the website. The overall service and food at the hotel restaurants is just ok and not comparable with nearby options. There are so many nicer hotel options in the Palm Springs area for the same price. I would save your money and go elsewhere!
