8/10 Very good

Overall experience was good, except the food. Do not recommend their breakfast, lunch/branch, it’s expensive and quality is poor, continental breakfast is $19 and food was not fresh.

Lovely Sequoia Stay
Room was nice and very clean. Really loved the location. Wish the restaurant didn't use so many plastic containers. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely lodge
Great stay at the lodge, nice and clean and room lovely. Food pretty good and service was good considering the volume of people. Some kitchen issues and missing items, but didn’t impact on a lovely 2 days.

6/10 Good

Disappointed but will prob still come back
We came with a baby and a small dog and was sent to Sequoia building. We booked a Deluxe room with king size bed. We got a room with a ceiling fan and a fan by the window. We unpacked and didn't think much of it. Until later after a sunset walk that there are other units with air conditioning units. Before we got on the bed, I used a UV flashlight to check the sheets and found multiple stains on the under side of the comforter (touching the bed).We removed it and slept on regular sheets, which was fine, because it was really hot. Asked for new ones but never got it :( The next day, after we returned around noon, it was hot and we, including the baby, were all naked because of the heat. We decided to ask for a fan from someone who was working in the building which they promptly supplied by the time we got back to the room after a walk. The two things I was not satisfied about was a) the unclean sheets and b) not having air conditioning for our baby. If it was just myself and my husband, it would have been okay. But we were so worried with the baby and the heat. On our third day, we had a medical emergency and decided not to go back to the lodge as it was a) 2 hours away from the hospital and b) I don't want to go back in the miserable heat of our room with our baby. We are not fussy customers, we have stayed at hostels and such. The only thing we look for in a place is that it's clean (sheets, etc). The fan was a big help, but AC would have been more comfortable.
