Needs remodeled
In need of lots of work, old and dated. The place was a cabin duplex, so you could hear the next door neighbors every move. It was old and run down. The place smelled like lysol mildew and musty. They tried to hide the smell which made it worse. The carpet was old, the fixtures were broken. It needs an remodel. Also a good deep cleaning. Our key didn't work on the last day. We went down to the check in and reprogrammed the key which still didn't work. The key locked us out early. It took them over a half hour to get someone to let us in the cabin. It is unfortunate that they didn't keep up the cabins as it is a cure little town in the lake. Very fun bar with a great band. Close to yosemite. But for the price I would look somewhere else.

The reservation was made months ago and the cabin we were given was the as far away from the wedding venue as possible. Rooms were ok but way overpriced.

I had checked in early. Room not ready til 6p.. Way too late. For that rate, service sucked. I lost my ID while on the lake. Almost were going to deny my room. This location suppose to be better.

Loved our stay at the Pines Resort
No complaints at all with our stay at the Pines Resort. It was our first time to stay here, so we didn't know what to expect, but what we got was a very clean cabin, good quality sheets/bedding and plush white towels (nice). Great water pressure in the shower. Everywhere we stay, we always check the mattress, under the mattress, and the bedding for certain things, and it was very clean, Thank you! The AC worked great. It was so cool and refreshing when we entered the cabin. We didn't hear noise from the adjoining cabin, so they were either real quiet or the cabins have good insulation. I didn't really check to see how well the kitchen was stocked, as I don't cook on vacay, but I did see dishes in there. This cabin did have steep/short stairs, so if you're elderly you might want to consider this. Was not a problem for us though. Loved our time here and would definitely stay here again.
