Moda Hotel
"Good location. Exactly as advertised. Lots of street noise during the night but that's not the hotel's fault. Served as a good overnight stay between cruise ship arrival and next day train departure."
The Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver
"This is probably the second most amazing hotel I've ever stayed in, just short of the Palazzo in Vegas. The room itself was amazing, along with the entire hotel. Everything was very clean, and it just had an elegant feel about it. The location was also great as we were close to quite a bit of shopping and places to catch buses to go see different sites. There were also quite a few good restaurants around us. All the staff were very nice, with the slight exception of an older gentleman that was working concierge (he seemed pretty annoyed that we interrupted a conversation he'd been having for awhile with another guest when we needed to ask a question). The only complaints I have is the shower is pretty dang small for how amazing the rest of the room is (there is a separate tub), and the channels available on the TV are atrocious. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if we ever get to visit Vancouver again, which I hope to do frequently!"
Best Western Plus Vancouver Airport Hotel
"The airport shuttle was useful. The reception staff were very helpful. Good location if you're interested in public transit, which was very easy to use. On-site restaurant was very good and reasonably priced."
Fairmont Waterfront
"We stayed on the Terrace floor and the kitchen gardens are beautiful. It was quite noisy as it is also the pool floor. Don’t get a room near the elevators!"
Rosedale On Robson Suite Hotel
"Would stay again. Great location."
Atrium Hotel Vancouver
"The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and everything we needed."
Paradox Vancouver
"We enjoyed the cleanness of the room, and location. I would stay in this establishment again."
Sandman Signature Vancouver Downtown Hotel
"We have been staying at this Sandman Inn on Georgia St. in Vancouver B.C. for the past at least 25 years. This time, we stayed in a room with a king size bed. The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet; you wouldn't have known the hotel was full. We specifically stay at this hotel for the proximity to other businesses, restaurants, Rogers Arena, the waterfront, etc. This was our first time eating at the restaurant downstairs, The Shark Club. The food was delicious and the staff were great! The hotel staff is friendly, kind and beyond helpful. On this specific stay, the hot water in the shower in our room wasn't getting as hot as I like for a shower (it was lukewarm; however, the sink water was hot). The hotel staff were very accommodating, and I ended up getting to take a hot shower after all. They checked the boilers first thing in the morning and were very efficient. The room was spendy, but as my family says "You get what you pay for". I highly recommend this Sandman hotel."
Hotel Willo (formerly YWCA Hotel Vancouver)
"I was very happy camper with it location was fenomenal"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Vancouver
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Vancouver is during January, February, and November, when hotel prices are generally lower. For a great value for money experience, it is advisable to stay for at least 3 to 4 days to fully appreciate the city's key landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions. During your visit, you can explore urban areas, enjoy scenic walks, visit museums, indulge in shopping and dining, and admire the impressive skyscrapers, all while staying within an affordable budget. With some luck, prices may drop even further, making your trip even more economical.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Vancouver, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel dates approach. Additionally, activating email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com can keep you informed about flash sales and exclusive last-minute promotions, helping ensure you don’t miss potential savings. With Smart Shopping , available via the app, you can compare hotel prices and amenities, allowing you to stay updated on your preferred hotels. If availability changes or prices drop, you could be among the first to know, making it easier to book your spontaneous getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates may help you save on your stay in a Vancouver hotel. For those interested in unique experiences, boutique hotels might provide a more personalised stay and potentially better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears higher, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but with Vancouver's outstanding public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well-connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
