Not the usual Radisson standard.
The room was mostly as described and was very clean. There were a few issues with room. The shower was missing half a door and was very mouldy. Although the room itself was clean, the carpet in the room was coming away from the skirting’s and everything felt a little poorly finished. If you turned on your own air con the noise was too loud to sleep- If you opened your window and someone else had their air in on it was too loud to sleep. Unlike most Radisson group hotels I have stayed in before, the walls are really thin and you can hear every noise from the corridor and adjoining rooms - certainly not helpful for a good nights sleep. Given the room was been prepaid, check in took an age.

Disappointed
Room was amazingly small with a very tiny window and bed linen was slightly dirty. During our stay we were never given a room key as the key system was down which was very annoying. We had to ask a member of staff to escort us every time we went back to the room. During breakfast we asked for two fried eggs which didn’t arrive for 25 minutes which was no good as by then we had finished our breakfast ! The server could not really speak English so couldn’t understand why we no longer wanted them. Stopped here before and found it to be very good, but this time it was appalling.

Good location. Room was ok, but a little grubby in places. Soft furnishings in need of updating. Restaurant was fine, food ok but not excellent. Restaurant was very cold at both dinner and breakfast time. Nothing wrong with this hotel, but nothing special either.

Surprisingly good breakfast.
Reasonable sized and very clean room. Surprisingly good breakfast. Checkin in process slow, air-con didn’t work, coffee machine didn’t work. Super-noisy from 7am onwards.

Perfect location in London
This was a quick visit for business. The rooms are a little tired but the location was perfect and the staff were lovely.

Great location
We have stayed at this hotel before as the location is fantastic for the theatres. It’s clean and beds are comfortable. However, this time the restaurant had changed and was not as good. The staff were very miserable! Not friendly as on previous visits. Will we stay again, yes as the location is walking distance of Covent Garden and Oxford St. as well as the west end theatres.

Spoiled by room.
This hotel is fantastically located for shopping, dining and central London attractions. The people were very efficient and the reception area and bar were great. The room was very clean though a little cramped. The air conditioning in the room did not work properly as it kept pushing out hot air even though thermostat set to 16 degrees. Added to that the windows were sealed. All in all one of my most uncomfortable nights in London.

Solo female business traveller
Stay was overall okay, wouldn’t choose to stay again. Upon arrival at hotel I was told there was not a room for me at that location and a black cab was called to take me to another hotel location with a room available due to booking system issue. This was not ideal at rush hour and would be good to know this in advance so I could travel straight to the correct hotel. The lady at reception told me she had put me in a nice room after the above experience however the room was very basic, 1 single bed small room with cramped bathroom however small room can be expected in London hotels. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, definitely recommend refurb of the rooms not very homely or cosy.

Go somewhere else
Receptionist was rude upon check-in (particularly around the £50 pre authorisation required as “policy” on a credit card). First room was filthy, bathroom was unusable due to strong odours emanating from the shower, shower tray filthy and carpet soiled. Was relocated to another room which whilst marginally cleaner, still had heavily stained carpets, was dated and was no bigger than a cupboard.

Disappointed
The room was like a shoe box - was glad it was just me. Cannot imagine how 2 people would be able to navigate the non-existent floor space together. When I got in the window had been left open and it was freezing at 6pm. Couldn’t get warm. Toilet made a terrible noise every time it was flushed. Had to queue to check in - no upgrade available for my Gold membership. Told cleaners I didn’t need my room servicing but they came in anyway whilst I was out. Very expensive for what you get - not value for money. Disappointed

First stay with several issues
I have stayed here multiple times and have generally had few if any problems. Although this time had a few. The boiler broke so one morning I took an ice cold shower. It broke again two days later (during the day) which prevented me from having a work out because I knew I would be taking yet another ice cold shower that evening. Luckily it was fixed later that evening. Also, the fire alarm went off three times one evening but luckily all of them went off before I went to sleep (think the last one went off at 11pm). I don’t know what happened here. I also tried calling the front desk, guest services and the concierge multiple times but nobody ever answered making me wonder if my phone even worked (when I did come downstairs to talk to someone it seemed like it was fully staffed). I was offered a discount off my overall stay and hotels.com offered an additional credit. I didn’t give much of a fuss but I can see how others would have not let them off so easy. They did offer the opportunity for me to talk to the manager. Hopefully, all of this was a fluke since my earlier stays were fine. Food and location are excellent. Gym is small but you can also go to the larger gym at the other Radisson Blu across the street.

When we got to the room, no hot water, shower was broken so you had to hold lever to get water. They did come and fix it for the following day. Second day AC was not working,, it was a sauna in the room the rest of our stay. Last day we had not toilet paper, had to go look for some. Family room had a sofa bed but the springs were deep in your back! I need a vacation from my vacation! Concierge was very attentive and nice.

Terrible experience!!
This was terrible. First got a room that was extremely noisy, which the staff was well aware of. Then got a room where half of the window was missing, which resulted in close to no sleep due to it being cold and noise from the street. Staff was extremely unhelpful and unresponsive. The fact that the hotel claims to be 4 star is a joke!
