I can't be too complementary, because it is super basic. The hotel is clearly undergoing some renovations, although to call it a hotel at all seems misleading. Maybe a guesthouse?
But the bed was comfortable enough, the bedding was changed, the bathroom was well fitted, if small.
The room did lack a kettle, but oddly did have teabags etc, probably an oversight. Also being a ground floor room there was road noise, but it's to be expected.
Worst thing was that one of the pillow cases had an old wine stain on it.
Anyway, now that I've written all that you'd probably think I was unhappy, but for the price I paid (something like £70 a night at fairly short notice) I'm actually very satisfied.
The location is good if you want to be in Richmond and if you're looking for a reasonably comfortable and mostly clean room then this fits the bill.
