The hotel:
-Charming
-Staff is warm and friendly
The junior suite was plenty spacious and had everything I needed. The air conditioning, the heater, the fan, the hot water, the in-room safe, all worked perfectly. The only thing that was a headache to try to figure out was the television. They might consider printing out instructions and leaving them by the phone.
I did have a slight issue the first night and needed to contact the team after hours and that was tricky. I would place a test call from your phone at arrival to make sure you can get through.
Hotel restaurant items were yummy, especially the breakfast (chilaquiles!!)
The pool was small and not suitable for swimming, but perfect after a long day of walking.
Things to know:
-Although the mini fridge is stocked items are not complimentary.
–Depending on which room you are put in you might get a fair amount of noise. I was on the 2nd floor and you can hear the restaurant staff, the washing machine, the opening and closing of supply closets, etc. Also, my particular fridge would make a loud popping sound like the power was tripped and would sometimes wake me up. After a couple of days you sort of tune it out.
The area-
