Queens Hotel & Spa

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of Bournemouth. All of the staff were excellent - very helpful and always polite. It is extremely good value for money - good choice for breakfast (buffet), good starters and desserts for evening meal, main meal fine, £6.50 for a large glass of house wine, nice little swimming pool. The bedrooms are bright and clean, albeit a bit old fashioned, with tea and coffee making facilities and a small, wall-mounted TV. We did also experience some noise - from outside and inside the hotel, and thumping plumbing!

Nice place, our bed was really comfortable! It’s not really a young persons scene. Only saw old people and the floors are pretty creaky. The part that put me off the most was that the bath water was a bit green... :/

Stayed here with a friend over the weekend. The service was great, we arrived early and the lady on reception let us sort the paperwork early and pay for parking so we could walk into town. We had a problem with our room key but when some one came to help, it just turned out to be user error on my part. We had read reviews before we left and were quite worried about what kind of room we’d get but we were completely surprised! We had a lovely sized room with the bonus of a balcony which we didn’t expect! We used the pool and sauna and steam rooms. Although the steam room and sauna are quite small, it wasn’t busy so it was ok for us. There were only two down points one being that the walls are pretty thin and you can hear people walking and talking upstairs and next door, and the other being that the breakfast didn’t have great vegan options for myself. However, both my friend and myself had a really good time and both the beach and main town are within walking distance. If we were to stay in Bournemouth again we would probably stay here again.

Trip was brilliant. Went down for air show. Unfortunately hotel didn't really live up to expectations. Very down ridden - needs updating. Pictures of refurb around but no starting date. No towels on arrival. Tea/coffee/milk not topped up each day. Bar closes early & service at bar very slow. Over sold parking spaces & so you had to leave your key so they could move it when a space became free(they pranged a couple of cars while we were there!!) Very over priced for what it is

Was a lovely 3 day holiday with family. Lovely hotel. Big room. Amaaazing breakfast. Good location. Definitely be returning
