It’s a beautiful hotel at an amazing location. Loved the room and my favourite part about the stay was the pool and jacuzzi, just fab!! However, the breakfast was terrible- we were hoping for a buffet but they gave us a single plate of vegetarian breakfast- had very less options in food and it was very oily! Stay here however, have breakfast at a local cafe next door as there are many many options outside.

Enjoyed the comfortable chairs and tea and gorgeous cake in the afternoon. Great barman with a fantastic sense of humour. Loved the Victorian architecture. Right next to everything eg shops, beautiful park, restaurants, the pier. Will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Great location for BIC however, wasnt impressed with the room. It was incredibly hot in there, we had to prop the window open with a toilet roll, which meant we had to listen to the traffic and the locals outside during the night. Which coincided with the other hotel residents slaming the doors in the early hours. The bed was very soft and lumpy, the room was ok overall but needed some tlc - damp marks on the wall, leaky soap dispenser. Breakfast was basic but did the job.
