Convenient destination in Mexico for travellers who don't speak Spanish, as most locals speak English. The infrastructure is well-developed and of good quality, ensuring a comfortable experience. However I think it may be somewhat too Americanized.

Tulum is beautiful! Give yourself time to rest and time to be adventurous/ tour the area. The food is great. I enjoyed the cenotes, the museum and the beach club. Make sure your internet works if that's important to you and have a great time!

Its an amazing place to visit and is still developing but it's history and lush areas are a must see. Their cenotes and ruins are a must when visiting. Everyone should book a tour, venture out to see the culture or visit their many beach clubs.

Tulum is growing fast but still a very new town. It isn't the slick cruise-ship tourist trap that Playa and Cancun are so don't expect anything fancy - lots of dirt roads. They do have lovely beach clubs and beautiful cenotes.

Tulum is very expensive overall, so bring a lot of pesos or USD, but beaches and the vibe ( not in the main town but on the beach in archeological zone (park Jaguar) and zona Hotelera) is special !

I loved the experience. Everyone is nice and makes you feel welcome and at home. The mosquitoes are terrible. Even though it may look unsafe I felt safe the entire time no matter where we walked and at night.

The taxi system price gauges without shame. For two women traveling together, it didn't feel safe or worth venturing outside of the beach strip at all (i.e; $40 USD for a one way trip 0.75 miles away). We will definitely be renting a car next time.

Tulum is definitely a tourist destination and a pricey. However, we found that all the street food was cheap and actually the best food we had the entire time we were there. I wish that is had not been so Americanized. American music everywhere.
"Loved the calm and peaceful atmosphere here. It was well kept and very clean rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful! We will be coming back to stay again! "
"One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Tulum. Very clean and spacious. Staff is incredible and super accommodating. I will recommend place to friends and family "
"This was a great 2 day!!! Room was perfectly located by the ocean. Around a lot of food and shopping. Parking was easy, check in and out were easy. Thanks for decorating for my birthday. I will return "
"The property was on the beach in a perfect location. My room was in great condition. Staff did an excellent job of preparing the room. The property was well maintained. had great food and drinks. I want to give mention to couple of staff Edith, at the front desk and David, in the restaurant. They were very helpful and professional
Love the location and would definitely stay there if I come back to Tulum."
"I really like the location of this property, if you are likely visiting Playa, or Bacalar etc this location has better access to the highway compare with Tulum Hotel area. Having a private pool also a big plus. Overalls great facility. Just mind that its a bit of a isolated area and you will likely need a way to move to either Tulum center or Hotel area (Bike, ATV) rental available on site. Furthermore checking and checkout are completely smooth which is highly appreciated."
