Food and drinks okay. Not many activities.
Food was excellent, other than poor choice of beverages in mini-bar. Activities were severely lacking. For example, there was a fitness activity at 10 A.M. just once a week. There were no bicycles, no tennis courts, not much to do other than beach volleyball twice a day. One boogie board, when 20 were needed.

Great resort but 2 double beds not guaranteed
Rooms were spacious and well furnished, and food was better than other all-inclusive resorts we’ve stayed at. Service was excellent everywhere at the resort. Plenty of sun or shade on beach given the palm trees. Ocean was swimmable. Only cons were: 1)we did not get two double beds as what my receipt stated, instead got a king bed. The front desk was not apologetic and told us it’s the category we reserved. Also, pools too small and crowded.

Nice resort. Great vacation.
Probably one of the nicer hotels in Puerto Vallarta. Beautifully remodeled. One thing that i would get rid of is the horses on the beach. They smelled horrible. And I am highly allergic to them. Even when they weren't there you could still smell the stench from where they parked them. Also, they should make the dinner options with reservations. That was incredibly frustrating. We would go to the restaurant and there would be availability but once you went to shower and change and come back down there was no availability. And they wouldn't put my name down. Very frustrating. My husband and son loved the parasailing right there. Great trip. Great service. Pretty decent food as well. It was an amazing vacation

Lugar bien pero muy mala atención.
El hotel esta solo bien, la comida, los cuartos normales y habría estado bien todo si no fuera por el servicio y la limpieza del buffet. Durante el buffet la comida esta bien pero todo al rededor de la comida lo que se cae no limpian y no se ve agradable. Hay muchos moscos en algunas areas y terminamos con las piernas muy irritadas. La atención de la gente que trabaja en el hotel es buena solo en la recepción, pedimos cosas a la habitación y teníamos que llamar varias veces porque suben lo que quieren y no lo que pides, me subieron la cuna para mi bebe y literal la persona molesta me la lanzo a medio cuarto, durante el desayuno una mesera muy grosera igual aventando los cafes y cosas teniendo a mi bebe conmigo. Durante la noche de Navidad a medio día cerraron el buffet y si preguntabas donde estaban sirviendo la comida las 4 personas a las que preguntamos muy mala actitud, groseras y no sabían nada. Fuimos una semana y nos hemos quedado siempre en la cadera RIU cuando viajamos porque tienen buen servicio y esta vez termine muy decepcionada de eso.

Excelente estadia, muy completo!
Es la segunda vez que vamos, RIU es garantia, multiples alimentos, amenidades, Shows, entretenimiento. Nos gusto, solo que el area de RIU Land, la alberca sigue estando muy fria para los niños, creo que es un punto a mejorar, ya que la alberca que esta saliendo del area de RIULAND, esa si esta tibia (deliciosa)

Don’t ever need to do an all inclusive again
The beach and pools were nice but rooms and food was just so-so. We found better food eating street tacos than just about anything this resort served. Even the specialty restaurants were nothing great. This was our first time at a resort like this and most likely will be our last.

This was my first time visiting an all-inclusive of any kind, - so most of my issues were due to my own ignorance about how certain things just are - and are going to be at any huge, family, beachside all-inclusive like RIU. If you kind of know what you’re getting into, you’ll be fine— in fact, you’ll have a fabulous time with your family. Don’t go alone like I did. This is a family place— bring a parent or a sibling if you dont have kids, you’ll have a blast. Plenty to do, drink, eat. The buffets are bountiful and fresh but you start to get sick of it after a few meals. About half (maybe more?) of each meal’s buffets are the same items day after day— but it’s kind of OK because most of it is really good!! The bread (all kinds— rolls, BAGELS, TORTILLAS!!) fabulous. The FISH, especially the Sea Bass which is front and center every single day in the same spot—PERFECTION. The only culinary downside for me was the complete lack of breakfast potatoes and the potatoes at other meals were really soggy and weird. The star of the show was the abundant and diverse and colorful, TASTY FRESH FRUIT— wow. Also, the horchata if you can find it. They hide it in a barrel in the corner. ;-) Overall, it’s a beautiful place to spend some family time— the staff will help you if you need anything. It was pretty easy for me to get around with some mobility issues, although it is a large property and depending where your room is, requires a decent amount of walking. The beach is 10/10.

This property needs some updating. The toilets in rooms don’t work and are faulty after “repair” The electrical outlets do not work whatsoever. Only outlet that work was the bathroom outlet.

I’ve stayed at atleast 25 all inclusive resorts , mid range usually. This place had great staff, but no pool drink service, you had to wait in line ups all day. Pool service to speak of , it was basically absent. There was line ups at the women’s washrooms by the pool, like waiting 10 minutes just to Pee. The buffet food , was one of the worst , all Mexican tasteless prison food. Even the soya sauce was so watered down at the Japanese place. The Orange juice & all juices were 3/4 watered down . The entertainment bar must’ve been flooded in the past , as it smelled like sewer , when we told them , they sprayed “aroma” and they knew the drill as soon as we complained , so it’s an obvious issue. The staff was really friendly, they worked hard, but couldn’t keep up. We didn’t have a bad time as it was just one of those things, we should’ve paid more and went somewhere nicer, but that’s okay .
