“Love of the Sea”
Amore De Mer was absolutely breathtaking and so searingly stunning - enveloped in sea and sky from every direction. The great room was like being on the aft deck of a private yacht. We have been spending Christmas in SXM for almost 30 years. We’ve found the Villas owned by this family to be among the highest in quality, style, luxury and service - all immaculate and impeccable. We’ve booked their villas for three years running and we would not trust our vacation to anyone else. I took my nieces and nephews ages 22-32 to celebrate their favorite uncles 60th bday, an active family of 8. We started most mornings with a workout in the fully equipped gym. We chartered a boat to St Barts, scuba with Dive Safaris, lunched at Pinel Island, Coco Beach, Anse Marcel, dinners in Grand Case. It was wonderful for the kids to walk down to the Westin Beach Bar for an afternoon swim and drinks (no driving). I particularly enjoyed just relaxing on the aft deck around the pool, enjoying the serenity. The communication from Donna Marie was wonderful. She shared all of her local knowledge with us and offered her assistance at every level. Amore De Mer does not disappoint - we already booked again for next year :) Thank you, DM and Darry P. for the best vacation ever!! We created a lifetime of memories that only deepened our family bond.

Everything about our experience was top notch! Great correspondence with the owner. Thank you for all the island information and favorite recommendations! Superb property, great amenities, all around excellent customer service. I wouldn’t change a thing. The gentlemen meeting us upon arrival was fun, kind and very informative on property details. We loved the ladies who came to clean....: I just realized I forgot to leave a final tip and will Venmo one to the owner. So sorry! We had a wonderful photographer who came to the villa to take family photos. Our adult kids wanted photos at this villa instead of a beach because this was where we gathered on vacation and had our best times. We love to travel......I give this place and the owner and staff a 10!!!!! Superb, thank you!❤️ Well done🙌🏻

A Week of Pure Bliss
Right off the back, I want to say WOW... this villa immediately took our breath away when we arrived. My family and I, a total of 6, stayed at Amor de Mer for a week and everything was to a T perfect. I truly cannot say enough good words about this property and management company. The villa had everything you could have wanted, and we could tell a lot of time and consideration of the guests was given into this villa. Darryl and DM were amazing with all correspondence. Right after booking we received an email with their favorite restaurants and attractions on the island. Every question that we had was quickly answered, and they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best. We highly recommend booking a sailboat excursion with No1SXM. We had an amazing time sailing around the island, and also getting the opportunity to snorkel. If you are wanting to stay around the villa, you can hop over to the Westin (just a quick walk from the villa) to enjoy their beach and pool. We did this during one of days and really enjoyed their beach and pool. We rented a car through Vic Dabbie at Dollar/Thrifty, which DM recommended, and we were very satisfied. I highly recommend renting a car to be able to explore both sides of the island. It was very easy and stress free. Overall, our experience was one that we will never forget. We can't wait to come back and stay at Amor de Mer again. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Amazing property. Amazing experience.
Amor de Mer (the name of this property) is an absolutely amazing property located in a gated community with absolutely everything one could ask for. From stunning views of the ocean at St. Barts, to an infinity pool, beautifully decorated appointments, four 5-star bedrooms and a gourmet kitchen...Amor de Mer is deserving of the highest accolades. Every little detail was taken care for our stay. The property manager was attentive and responsive to the smallest requests. It really was a perfect vacation for our family and the family we took with us to Sint Maarten. If you are looking for a 5-star experience you won't go wrong with Amor de Mer.

Luxury Getaway! We Can't Wait to Come Back!
What a wonderful experience we had, I can't say enough about our stay! Blakely the house manager met us at the home, after giving perfect directions from the airport. Her knowledge and attention to detail upon our arrival were great. The house was GORGEOUS! We walked in to a full wall of glass doors out to a beautiful terrace with pool, and past that looking out at the ocean. Inside was just as perfect - so beautifully decorated and such attention to detail. You can tell the owners take great pride in this home. It felt brand new, clean, bright, and peaceful! The layout was perfect, plenty of space for spreading out, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were all so tastefully done and gave everyone their own personal space. All the bedrooms walk out to the terrace, looking over the cliffs and out to the ocean, and the pool was perfect and relaxing. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the chef's tool we needed to eat in most nights, and BBQ lunches during the day. It was just so easy to feel relaxed, the setting just exudes the feeling of our own private luxury getaway! The special touches from the owners, the coffee makers, the yoga mats and beach towels, even the speakers for playing music while lounging at the pool, all just made so much sense. The house and outdoor space had the perfect flow to it. What a fantastic spot for a group to get away together! We will definitely be repeat visitors! One week just wasn't enough! Thank you SO much for such a wonderful vacation experience!

Fantastic House!!!!
We loved Amor de Mer. The community at Dawn Beach was lovely and it took us 5 minutes to walk to the private access to the beach where the Westin is. We did this a few days. The beach bar, pool and beach chairs are all setup at the Westin, but we were disappointed to see that the hotel and casino weren't open yet. It is a really nice beach, though. We also loved all of Blakely and Darryl's other suggestions and hit Anse Marcel, Orient, Pinel plus dinners at Emelio's and Barranco. All awesome! Thanks guys. The day on the boat was the best! Highly recommend this host and the house.

Absolutely Breathtaking
It's not just the property itself is amazing, but it's the experience provided by the villa owner and manager. First, the home is extremely well appointed, well thought out, and the views and setup are out of a movie. The photos are spot on and you won't be disappointed. Second, the communication are from the villa owner and the information provided was superb. Everything from amazing restaurants, top-notch excursions, and even information/details about COVID-related entry requirements. To top it off, there's a villa manager who meets you at the property to walk you thorough every little thing at the house. We traveled with another family (both of us have children 9-12) and we all had a wonderful time. If we have one piece of advice, get an SUV or Jeep. Despite the narrow roads, there's a lot of steep hills all over the island and in the area of the villa.

Far exceeded our expectations!
As amazing as the photos looked, we were blown away when we arrived. The villa is new, modern and very tastefully done. But the views and location are just really amazing. We didn't really appreciate that the house is at the end of the road and there are truly no houses beyond it along the coast. The house was very well appointed with great wifi, Apple TV for movies, bluetooth speakers for music. There was even a full array of spices in the kitchen. We LOVE to cook and it was amazing cooking in this brand new kitchen looking out at our kids playing in the pool with the ocean and st barths beyond. Highly recommend.

Amazing Seaside Retreat
We had a very large group and ended up renting two of The Serenity Collection’s properties — this and La Movina, which is a 5 minute drive away. Both houses had their unique factors that made them special. We loved hearing the waves breaking just below the balcony and being able to stare down into the reefs below the house. The setup was convenient with all four bedrooms on one level and a central living room. Everything is brand new and very well appointed. Blakely and the cleaning crew did a stupendous job catering to our needs. The whole experience was great. We highly recommend both villas. This email originated from outside the organization.
