The resort was great and most of the staff was very kind, polite, and helpful! We appreciated their kindness and willingness to answer questions. We have a couple of suggestions. One, a lot of people were reserving lounge chairs in the pool or beach for several hours by leaving their belongings on them and they were not even using them. At times lounge chairs were reserved for as long as 4 hours. I know this bc we were waiting for them to empty so that we could go to the beach or pool. That is not fair and should not be allowed bc then others cannot use them. When we asked the valet to put more lounge chairs out for us he refused, even though there were some available. We can understand why he did so, but again, wouldn't have been an issue if this was not allowed. Second, it would be great to have another restaurant or bar in AC that is more low key than Pure Ocean. Most of the restaurants were outside and when it's extremely hot it is not comfortable to dine. Finally, we think it would be great to add like a small theatre and show movies at various times of day. We had this in another resort we went to and it was a great addition. Ty you all very much for the hospitality!! We wish you all the best!! We love Sint Maarten and hope to be able to return!

Beautiful sea views but a bit tired.
Perfect location on the beach, in a beautiful calm bay. The rooms are a little tired and a bit basic and overall it’s a no frills kind of place. But it is in a good location, comfortable rooms with stunning sea views.

I love how the property was well kept, easy access to pools and the jacuzzi that was in my top it off. I hated the amount lizards that I have to encountered with everytime I go outside especially by the pool area. The bar service is the worst I have experienced stay at Divi, this one male bartender serve me a smoothue mix with sprite. When I ask why did he use sprite and not milk, he stated that they don't use milk to make smoothue and I was like I don't want this drink then because it tasted horrible. Not only that they don't use straws at this bar and the same bartenders are handling tips, credit cards, cleaning the tables and serving me drinks at the same time without gloves and did not wash their hands. I got frustrated and decided to leave, when I got the bill I realized that they had tips and surcharges on my bill which I understand what was the surcharges were for. The bartender explained to me that's the company's policy and that's how they get paid. I don't have no problem tipping, but tipping plus surcharges is a ripped off I have never heard of that, plus their services was horrible.

Overall enjoyed the stay. Facilities a little 'tired', food could benefit from more choice & imagination (generally - some were excellent). Weirdest 'all-inclusive' set-up we've encountered (works, just takes some getting used to). Beach was nice & well-managed and cleaned. Convenience store was a real plus.
