Oasis in the bustle of Istanbul
We stayed 4 nights at the start of our Turkey adventure and it was nice to have a lovely hotel with all the amenities to transition us from a lengthy flight. The staff are helpful and the location is accessible by taxi to areas of the city you want to take in. We have opted to return and stay before we leave Turkey and it’s because of food, pool, gym and great breakfast.

Our stay was excellent. From check-in to checkout, everything was fast, easy, and smooth. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I love Hyatt hotels because they have something in common- good, calm ambiance and modern, updated rooms. I liked that the lobby had security and it was a grand entrance. However, the rooms looked like Marriott or Hilton. They were very outdated with mirrors covering the entire bathroom. The room was beige and had a 70s vibe unlike what I thought I was getting based on the photographs. I also didn’t like how even though my room was non smoking, I could smell strong smoke scents in the hallway. What I did like is how convenient it was to get to the square.

Great properly and we stay here a few times a year coming from the states. Normally this is 5 stars but the mini bar did not work and I had medication that had to be kept cool. The mini bar worked maybe for a few hours. When we got up in the morning it was warm inside. I brought a portable mini medicine cooler which I used on the plane and moved my insulin quickly over. Hoping it didn’t got bad overnight in the fridge.
