Limited shuttle
It was a short night stay with an early departure. I specifically pickked this hotel for its location to the airport and needing a very early ride departure. Turns out the hotel shuttle does not operate until 6am. I may have missed that in description however flights depart earlier than 6 am, an even 6am departures require early check ins. An UBer had to be caled..The rooms were avg, beds a little damp, no comforters. For a very short stay no frills hotel its ok.

The property had high ratings but it was just average or below average. It was obvious it had been years since the last remodel. The bed seemed old, tired and was lumpy. It was walkable to stores and restaurants, but the hotels on the other side of the interstate were even more walkable.

Was fine for one but was really disappointed as stayed there because there was an airport shuttle only to find out that they have really limited space and the shuttle costs $15 a person which adds up when ride share was only $12.

I'd give 0 stars if I could!
DO NOT STAY HERE! We booked our hotel stay through Hotels.com which included a free breakfast and was additionally confirmed by a phone call. Upon checking into the hotel, the receptionist told us breakfast was not included in the price and we would be required to pay an additional $30 fee. Apparently, the hotel management never notified any of the 3rd party websites to remove the free breakfast, as they decided to not offer that anymore. Upon checking out, they tried to charge us the fee again. Although the beds were comfortable, the rooms and furniture are dated, the AC didn’t work properly, and even though we requested a quiet room months in advance, the room they provided was facing the freeway onramp so there was street noise all night long which kept us awake. The staff is unfriendly and act like they don’t want to be there and treat you like you are an inconvenience. They can’t even keep the complimentary water filled in the lobby which was empty on three different occasions when I tried to use it. I would highly suggest staying somewhere else while visiting the Fort Lauderdale area. I’ll never stay here again…even if it’s free!

Stay before a Cruise
The hotel works fine for a night stay before our cruise. They offer airport shuttle, and for an additional charge they offer cruise port shuttle. We had to drive due to weather, and they also offered cruise parking. However, when I called, I was told it cost $7/night. When I arrived the front desk stated it was $10/night. They honored the other amount, but this should be clearly stated and communicated.
