Nice hotel …. Awful shuttle service.
Great price for a one night stay having flown in to MIA in the evening and getting on a cruise ship the next morning at the Port of Miami. We booked this hotel because it offered a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel, and then from the hotel to the cruise ship terminal. I would have given 4 or maybe even 5 stars for our stay , as the hotel was clean, breakfast good, staff friendly , location SUPER close to the airport ……BUT the shuttle service was bad. Upon arrival at the airport the wait time was about 30 mins ….not too long… and kind of expected as it is show up, call the hotel and wait to be picked up . However the next morning we had booked a shuttle to take us to the Cruise ship terminal. ( you book it at the front desk upon arrival at the hotel) We choose a 12 noon time which would give us plenty of time to get to the cruise ship terminal to check in for 1pm. However it was a gong show. 25 people waiting by the front door from 11:30am ( as instructed to do ) and by 12:30 NO SIGN of the shuttle and NO STAFF being able to help. The driver apparently was uncontactable !!! We and others ended up calling an Uber and were quite stressed out by the unreliable shuttle service. Not a great way to start a vacation. Don’t offer a shuttle service if you can’t deliver !!!!
