4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Dubai

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Dubai is during the months of June to August, when hotel prices are typically lower. For those looking to explore the city's notable landmarks, cultural sites, and historical attractions, a stay of at least 4 to 5 days is recommended. This duration allows visitors to enjoy excursions to the iconic skyscrapers, engage in shopping experiences, take in the desert scenery, and partake in delightful boating trips along the river. With its great value for money, this trip can be both enriching and affordable, especially considering that prices may drop during this off-peak season.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: When planning a trip to Dubai, you may discover attractive hotel deals on Hotels.com by exploring the Dealsopens in new window section. For those booking close to their departure date, the Last-Minute Deals area could offer enticing options. Moreover, the app’s Smart Shopping feature is a handy comparison tool that enables you to review hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re more likely to spot beneficial offers as room availability or rates change. Consider enabling notifications to stay informed of flash sales and special promotions.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal for your stay in a Dubai hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we will suggest alternative dates that might be more affordable, potentially assisting you in discovering a more attractive option.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but with Dubai's excellent public transport links, you might find an independent hotel further afield that is still well connected and more likely to be affordable. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby cities, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
