I booked accommodation through Expedia for a family of 6, expecting a smooth and reliable experience. Unfortunately, what we received was nothing short of a disaster. Despite receiving confirmation of our booking, Expedia failed to provide the exact address of the property, making it impossible for us to check in. We tried contacting customer service multiple times, but no resolution was offered in a timely manner. With no way to access our accommodation and no support from Expedia, we were left abandoned in Dubai, with young children and luggage in tow. Eventually, I had no choice but to book new accommodation myself at additional cost, just to ensure my family had a place to stay. This experience was not only stressful but completely unacceptable from a company that claims to offer reliable travel services. I expected better communication, better support, and basic accountability. I will not be using Expedia again and would advise others to think twice before trusting them with important travel plans—especially if you're traveling with a family.
