Architecture boat tour was very enjoyable. Numerous restaurants close by, and Trader Joe's across the street which was so convenient. Two blocks walking for us to the Magnificent Mile for shopping and Starbucks Reserve which is quite an experience.

We had great weather for late October. We recommend the boat tour of the city but suggest the evening ride to see the city all lit up. Our hotel was close to transportation and purchased the multi day pass. We also recommend the City Pass for museums

Chicago is a beautiful city with so much to do for adults and children alike. The beautiful waterfront of Lake Michigan, the dynamic Chicago River Walk, parks, museums, galleries, shopping, eating and entertainment. Chicago has it all! Don't miss it!

Chicago has a bad reputation for being unsafe, but I always feel safe and secure in the downtown area. I grew up in the suburbs and always loved downtown, and after returning home as an adult multiple times, my husband and I always have a great time.

I was impressed with Chicago. The people were friendly and as a pedestrian I found the drivers more respectful than my hometown of Boston. I did a lot of walking and I found it safe with lots to see. One downside though-it was expensive than Boston.

We took the hop on/hop off bus around Chicago. It took you to all the main places you would want to see. Definitely give yourself a couple of days if you plan to go inside the museums. Also, buy your entry tickets for the planetarium ahead of time.

This was our first time visiting Chicago and we had a fantastic time. We took an architectural boat tour, took a food tour of China Town, enjoyed The Art Institute, had Afternoon Tea, saw a show, learned how to ride the L and ate some great food!

As a lifelong Chicagoan, I can confidently say this city offers something for everyone. From the iconic skyline to diverse neighborhoods, Chicago is full of culture and charm. The food scene, especially deep-dish pizza and hot dogs, is a must.
"It was a great day in Chicago. I love the location and amenities. It was very walking distance to all the places we wanted to go. The rooms were small, but a good size were two of us and we just needed it for the nights to sleep. The design was very unique and modern, which was nice. Definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the heart of the city and be able to walk everywhere. "
"The front desk staff was stellar! I cannot remember her name but she was training a new woman. She was amazing. They both were. She answered ALL of my many questions with grace and kindness. She was professional and helpful with recommendations for city dining as well. Thank you! I will be visiting again! "
"A lot of people were getting into their rooms before us. When my husband asked the front desk several times they seemed uncaring. He started to get upset and then they gave us a river view. It would have been nice to have been treated well without having to get upset first"
"The main advantage of this hotel is convenience, of course - right at the ORD airport. Then, the property itself is nice, reasonably quiet considering the area, the staff friendly and the gym well equipped, to boot. "
"It was amazing to stay at this pleasant, vintage-style hotel. It was a family vacation tour, and the location is excellent, as most attractions are either within walking distance or a $10-15 minute Uber ride away. They had a great Breakfast, but only from 6:30-9:30."
