Nice hotel, but noisy.
Hard review to give. The hotel cabanas themselves is really nice. Great pool, super clean, very comfortable beds, pillows, friendly staff. But.. its all made of timber which is also charming and terrible at noise isolation. Although holbox has no cars the 4x4 cart taxis are noisier than cars and they go alllll night. You feel like you are in the middle of a racetrack. Then there is always people nearby having post 3am drinks loudly. Like you feel theyare in your room but they are not even on the same property. Its a pity coz l loved it otherwise. Also not sure why but all units downstairs get not chsirs and table on balcony but all upstairs units get 2 chairs and a table. Go figure!

This is a very unique property. The rooms are fashioned as bungalows, so wooden on the inside as well as the outside. The beds are very comfortable, the walk-in shower was great with lots of hot water. A large pool is the centerpiece of the property with lots of palms, philodendron and other tropical plantings complete the landscaping. Hamacas are also strung between the trees for rest and relaxation, as well as lounge chairs at either end of the pool. The only negative, which is no fault of Coconut Ool, is that because the island only has sand streets golf carts and very loud ATVs and side-by-sides serve as taxis. They are allowed to run the roads 24/7 even though the island touts its eco-friendly nature. This being said, we heard the ATV noise. We would recommend, if you have any trouble sleeping, to bring noise canceling headphones, earplugs, and/or some type of white noise. Other than the ATVs, this is a very charming and unique place with a "tree house" type of vibe! ❤️

El hotel es muy correcto por calidad precio, está limpio, es cómodo, el agua caliente perfecta, camas cómodas, todo perfecto. Pero está hecho de madera y está muy deteriorado: en 5 días se rompieron 3 veces algunas partes de la cabaña, entre ellas un tablon de la terraza, por donde se nos fué un pié, se tiene que restaurar. Es un hotel barato lo que hace que el público sea de un nivel más bajo y a veces falte educación en conductas nocturnas (gritos y ruidos de gente joven). Por el resto la estancia fué muy correcta! Es recomendable!!!

Fint hotell med god beliggenhet. Veldig lytt og støyete, som trakk ned opplevelsen noe. I tillegg var det lite renhold av rommet, og vi gikk på det meste fire dager uten å få skiftet håndkler eller fylt på med toalettpapir. Billig hotell, og helt fine rom og bad med akkurat det man trenger - men ikke noe mer enn akkurat det. Holbox er et nydelig sted, og når man tilbringer så lite tid på rommet som vi gjorde, fungerer det helt greit for prisen man betaler.
