Very basic, lacking items like cups
The hotel is dated, in poor repair. Only one of the two elevators was working. The room had nothing in it, no cups, soap, etc. completely bare except bedding and towels. The safe was missing its door. View was of construction.

Decadent hotel in horrible conditions. The curtain was riped, sheets that barely cover the over stained mattress, bathroom door falling apart, only two small pillows for a double bed and when I called the front desk they stated they didn’t have any extra. Besides that we also found a few cockroaches in the room. Definitely didn’t worth the stay. Almost forgot: they charged extra 30 reais for parking.

Only good for its location
The best thing about this hotel is its location at Porto da Barra, just a few steps away from the beach, supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants etc. But the hotel itself is dated and poorly maintained. The lift has problems, the room and bathroom need urgent renovation, or at least a (very) deep clean. In the gym, none of the 3 threadmills worked and the space was left filthy, with dead cockroaches all over the floor day after day. I had booked a 5 day stay but left after just 2. Shame as the location is juet perfect.

Ótima localização
Ótima localização, porém alguns problemas tornam a estada ruim. Hotel grande, lotado, mas apenas um elevador para atender 10 andares. Roupas de cama sujas e surradas. Limpeza precária. Senti tristeza em ver quanta mudança ocorreu em 7 anos. Estive no hotel na época que era o Sol Barra e era maravilhoso. Uma pena!

Péssima experiência!
Péssima experiência. Um elevador para atender 10 andares, pois o segundo passou toda a semana que estivemos hospedados em manutenção. Cheguei a ficar 15 minutos tentando descer do sexto andar. As chaves desmagnetizam o tempo todo. Os quartos são horrorosos, com cheiro ruim. Cortinas rasgadas. Móveis estragados. Só a cama que era confortável. O café da manhã era horrível! Filas imensas. Local escuro. Térmicas do café não funcionavam. A máquina que aquecia o leite e café estava estragada. Os bolos não tinham gosto. Só deu para comer pão francês e queijo.

Decepção
Deixou muito a desejar, elevador quebrado durante toda a nossa estadia, era preciso usar o de serviço e sempre cheio. Elevadores velhos. Recepcionistas mal treinados, faltou manta, travesseiro, não se troca toalha diariamente, lixo banheiro sem tampa, papel higiênico sem qualidade, toalhas e lençóis encardidos, cofre quebrado, tv só 3 canais.

A PIOR ESTADIA EM SALVADOR
Estive em junho neste hotel. Não poderia imaginar que a qualidade iria cair em menos de 6 meses. No ceck-in uma atendente de péssima qualidade em dar informação. Só pude acessar o quarto ja passavam das 14:30 h. Um problema que aconteceu: o cartão eletrônico para abrir a porta não funcionava. Tive que voltar para trocar. Mas o pior era ver toda vez que deixa o cartão era uma luta para a atendente conseguir codificar. O hotel estava lotado e só um elevador social funcionando. O café da manhã parecia campo de refugiados. Café de péssima qualidade; margarina num recipiente onde quem quisesse teria que passar a faca e armazenar no prato. Mas e tinha faca? Um monte de gente para tomar café e não tinha faca limpa disponível. O açúcar é num açucareiro nas mesas. Mas nem todas mesas tinha. A TV do quarto é do tamanho de um monitor de computador. Enfim, ainda bem que só reservei 01 dia de hospedagem.
