The check-in process was not particularly warm nor welcoming . Though I booked with Hotels.com, all details had to be re-entered on an iPad when I checked in, including PII information. There was no acknowledgement or explanation given by reception staff, who seemed new and unable to explain. When additional towels were requested, the night receptionist said he did not have access to housekeeping and to come back the next morning. When we came back the next morning, we were told it cost 2 pounds per towel. When I raised these issues through the hotel's direct survey, Management's response was swift and appropriate, which we appreciated.
The rooms were bit smaller and did not receive as much light as indicated in the photos. But clean, comfortable and equipped with basic items (dishwashing fluid, washer tablets, etc) which was much appreciated. The surrounding area was very quiet; easy access to bus and Tube stations.
