So when I first got here, there was so much wrong with this place that I was leaning toward two stars, but then overtime, the view and amazing staff won me over. So let’s touch upon some of the bad before we can focus on the good.
First, my check-in was delayed until 4 o’clock. Not a major thing, but a little annoying. However, something that was really annoying was the construction that went on all day long. Oh, and on the note of construction, I got trapped in my first room (the moved me to three rooms throughout my stay) when the lock seem to break for no reason. One of the hotel workers heard my cries, and we were able to free me by slipping the key out the window.
So how does this place rate four stars. Well, the view for one. It was so relaxing to get away from El NIDO proper, and just spend the day looking at the waves and those giant rocks off shore. The area of success was the staff. Everyone was so nice, and so friendly that I soon forgot the negatives. In fact, when I got sick, the manager sent her employees out for medicine and supplies. The genuinely concerned for my health and that means a lot
So would I stay here again. Yes.
