I recently stayed at Hanoi Club and Residence for 9 nights, paying a premium for what I expected to be a four-star experience. Unfortunately, the hotel's location in a narrow alley proved to be inconvenient, as taxis, cars, and buses struggled to pick up guests. The crowded, narrow streets filled with motorbikes made walking around feel unsafe.
Moreover, I was disappointed by the unprofessionalism of the staff and management. Their lack of manners and disregard for guests' comfort was evident throughout my stay. I was asked to check the room for a hairdryer without them inspecting it properly first. However, upon checking, the hairdryer was indeed in the room. This lack of attention to detail was concerning and not what I would expect from a hotel of this caliber.
