Reasonably priced but rather tiny
The room was very clean & tidy although very small. The bathroom had a 'damp' smell that was quite overpowering if the door was left open. We had a room on the third flood which meant 62 steps to our floor. Reasonably priced for our 1 night stay and excellently placed for the train station.

Closet for a room
Staff was friendly but a “deluxe twin” was literally like a closet with a tiny bathroom attached. We tried to stay out of the room as much as possible because it was so tiny. Breakfast wasn’t bad though

I could hear the trains running underneath the floor of my room even though I was on the 2nd floor. Tiny room overlooking a park with homeless people sleeping all night

Good location just 1min away from. Paddington station. We were 2 adults and 5 kids (reserved one room 5 beds). Overall hotel is clean and good breakfast (for cooked English breakfast has to pay extra £6 per person). Tbh room was a bit small for 5 people but well, when in London you only use room for shower and sleep so did not really mind. Helpful 24hr reception. Overall good value for money.

This is a budget hotel in Paddington. It is very conveniently located close to the Paddington Underground in a nice neighbourhood. However it does not have air conditioning or a lift - and the stairs are steep and narrow. Great if you’re young and fit, challenging for older folk toting big bags.

The only thing bad was (as a woman of 72) there's no lifts and i had to climb 75 stairs even my son in law was out of breath after climbing all those stairs but everything else was good.

2/10 Poor

Worst of stays
Warning to others— you do not want to stay here. There is no lift the first floor is zero so expect 3-4 flights of stairs. No air conditioning but a fan is provided, the weather was quite chilly but our room was hot throughout the night with the window open. Twin bed was not only tiny but old and lumpy from use, extremely uncomfortable. Room smelled horrendous from sewer fumes.

Nice location. Rooms are tiny of course not grwat if you have lots of luggage. Staff are friendly except for the odd few. Breakfast waa great. I recommend purchasing with your room. Do not stay if you cant do stairs.

The hotel was in a lovely area . Very walkable and close to Paddington Station. Many restaurant choices and not far from Hyde Park. The hotel itself is a different story . Staff was welcoming and pleasant upon arrival. Our room was on the 3rd floor which involved walking up 4 flights of stairs. Very small room which was fine but there was no air conditioning. They did supply a small fan but windows did not open , so no chance of circulating any air. We were there on one of the hottest days of the year . Our bathroom was about a 6 to 7 inch step up from the bed and extremely small . We honestly took cold showers and left room immediately after dressing to avoid perspiring. Also non potable water in room , so we lugged water up each night .

The location of the hotel is excellent. Close to Paddington Station and underground. The staff at the reception desk are friendly and eager to help. The rooms are tiny but clean. There is no air-condition in summer and the bathroom did not smell nice. You can hear and feel the underground underneath. The staircases are steep and there is no lift. In some of the rooms the tap water was not drinkable. (According to the signs on the wall.)

2/10 Poor

One of the worst hotels I ever stayed in my international experience. Convenience factor is the only advantage. Receptionists during both the check in (Russian sounding man) and check out (Asian lady) times were unprofessional. The entrance (ground floor) stinks so badly. The room reeks of old carpet or wood smell which hits you in the face. Don’t even get me started about the bathroom.

Very convenient for transport links. Room small but adequate for single traveller for a 1-2 night stay so a good base for a short trip to London.

Not recommended
We recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, the experience was less than ideal. The hotel does not have an elevator, which made carrying luggage up the stairs quite challenging. The rooms are not equipped with air conditioning, and the windows are blocked, preventing any fresh air from coming in. While a fan was provided, it barely worked, offering little relief from the heat. The bathroom was extremely small, with a sink that was very inconvenient to use. Additionally, the soundproofing is poor, and there were strong vibrations from the nearby metro that could be felt in the room. On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located near the metro and train station, with plenty of dining options in the area.

We really like the location. SO close to Paddington station. Great food options close by. ***It was NOT good that the water in the rooms was marked NON POTABLE with a metal sign. Not temporary but the norm. I have stayed at other hotels on the row and that's not the case. It was inconvenient to have to use bottled water for brushing teeth.
