Great location with an open, outdoor stocked bar at the poolside. Very comfortable and nicely appointed rooms. Super clean and VERY nice staff. Great value. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay.

Just the best
Just loved this place. One of our favourite ever hotels. It has such a great vibe, the rooms are perfect, the pool and bar area is small but just perfect. Everyone who worked there as well as the owners who we had the pleasure to meet with were incredible. We would actually travel back to Costa Rica just to stay here again.

Love this place
Loved this hotel! Gorgeous decor and the comfiest biggest bed ever. So close to the beach with the most beautiful sunsets. Lots of restaurants close by and great coffee provided in the room. Only comment is I didn’t realise we had to leave a sign on the door otherwise they don’t clean the room (I didn’t see any communication about this) however they gave us new towels straight away when asked.

I wish I could stay longer. Beautiful big room and comfortable bed. The staff went above and beyond with flowers and some cupcakes when we arrived. The whole property is beautiful and well designed. Definitely staying here again when I come back to Jaco.

This was a great place to stay. I would stay again. For other travelers: they don't have two restaurants on-site but yiy can order feom 2 local restaurants that will deliver. There is a bar on-site but they don't serve food.

Hotel Amavi was absolutely beautiful! The staff was friendly and informative. Very clean with the most comfortable beds. Location was great, just a few minutes walk to the beach with a couple of bars and a cute restaurant called Mahi Mahi you could just walk up to and order the most delicious food and sit right there on the beach and eat! We were greeted by friendly staff, they also sent us details for checking in if they were not at the desk as we were arriving late, the room had a comfortable bed, coffee was provided with a coffee maker in the room, and the layout of the room and the level of detail was great. All rooms are laid out around the pool are light and have blackout blinds, very good stay. Would definitely stay here again!

It was such a beautiful boutique hotel. It was 2 min walk to the beach and like 5 min drive to the main street where all the restaurants are. The days we were there the host had activities for guests to mingle. (Trivia & paint night)

Great place to stay for a long weekend in Jaco. Just south of the main touristy downtown area of Jaco, but still convenient enough to walk over. Quieter area but still convenient to everything in the area. Look forward to visiting again and staying at the Amavi!
