Check out was at 10:30 at 10:12 the lady in the front was already knocking at our door telling me it’s time to check out. So we are packing and my bf puts all our stuff by the door and is about to go and return the remote and the key and then he will come back to grab our stuff and she comes knocking at the door again saying it’s time to check out its now 10:30. My bf then goes to return the remote and key and she ends up coming to the room & says I need to check the room with an attitude the entire time she has been rude even when I first checked in. I told her theirs no need to be rude I wasn’t doing anything for her to be rude from start to finish and for her to antagonize us like we don’t know the check out is 10:30. My leg is kind of messed up so that why I couldn’t really help my bf with everything and the units where up stairs so it already was a struggle. Overall the service wasn’t to my liking especially because I don’t go out my way to be rude to others.

Angry lady roach paperless
If you want to get yelled at by an angry Indian lady while dodging roaches and begging for toilet paper, this is the place for you.

Not a very happy person
the place doesn’t have any parking spots for guests. All the rooms are on the 2nd fl and so the metal gate entrance that leads you upstairs was hard to distinguish. signage of the unity hotel was barely even noticeable. After I checked in I took a shower. I was cool that it wasn’t the most beautiful shower ever, but the brown towels set that were available all left bits of lint and fuzzies all over my hair, face, crack/crevices of mybody. I ended up having to shower again to remove the clumps of brown lint from my body. I went to let the desk lady know and she refused to trade them for usable ones. Instead she tells me to come tomorrow morning from 11-12 to get new ones. However, Check out time is 10:30am. I felt insulted. Also, you cannot have any guests visit or else be subjected to being removed from your rooom/property. So having 2 friends over for lunch wasn’t allowed but screaming voices and violent activities from neighbors room wasn’t frowned upon or addressed. Room also smelled stuffy and no window screens—allowing mosquitos and other flying insects bite you.

If you’re on a tight budget and just need a hotel room to sleep in and regroup with a full bathroom (vanity sink in the room, shower tub), fridge, microwave, comfortable bed, plus a chair with a writing desk (which I’ve found you really miss when a chair and desk are not provided and you have to use the bed as seating and say, dresser tops rather than a table to organize and eat your microwave dinner? Yes, that is what I was coming from) … this place is more than adequate. The LG tv had a good clear picture with Spectrum cable service. The room was old, run down, but clean and also private. It was a basic “full amenity” hotel room (and not a bunk bed hostel with shared bathroom or a big room with a bed but no place to sit down when you are not sleeping).

8/10 Very good

All was good the only thing was it was a Saturday night when I checked in and my room was right at the front gate/door to the hallway where all the rooms were behind mine or across the hall from me, so at some point after I checked in, I could hear each and every one come into both the front gate and their room doors around me and then leave again plus return...it would've been better to have been told that about the cheapest room rate, at check-in perhaps? That's the only thing....

The lady who checked me in and out was very accomodating. It was very nice hotel exactly as discribed. I didnt have a car. It was very easy for me to eat, do laundry, get groceries. All in walking distance. The room was clean, quiet, and this poor lady got up at 0500 for me to check out. I was very grateful.

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. If one just needs a room to sleep, and not worry about a car to park, this is a good value. I recommend it.

6/10 Good

It was okay. If you can get over that it looks like a dump from the outside and the common areas then the rooms aren’t terrible. It’s pretty quiet. The area is pretty bad. It’s a cheap room. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep and shower for low cost then this will do. But don’t expect it to be nice.

This was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I walked in the room and the floor was sticky, there were cigarette burns in the sheets, there was random black hair on the bathroom walls (I am blonde). The shower curtain rod was broken, the towels were crusty, and the neighbors were incredibly loud. About 30 minutes before my checkout time, one of the ladies knocks on my door and asks if I am staying or leaving and checkout was in 30 minutes. I did not want to stay there a second longer than I had to. I would have felt better sleeping in the parking lot next door. Also pretty sure there was a drug dealer in one of the rooms there by the amount of sketchy people coming in and out of the building.
