Fabulous hotel, location and staff!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Normandie Hotel! The building itself and our room was amazing and authentic. It’s quiet, roomy and the beds are very comfortable. The shower was great also. So many little extras-attention to detail. The atmosphere was fabulous and relaxing and we enjoyed having wine in the lobby in the evening. The staff is professional, personable and very helpful. The location is perfect and very easy walking distance to the Metro station. We ate at Casell’s a couple times-also fabulous staff, food and vibe. We highly recommend and will be back to stay on our next LA trip! Thank yoi!

DO NOT stay here if you expect to get any sleep
checked in to a lovely room, Big king bed, nice style, charming lobby with wine happy hour. C. J. was friendly and vey accommodating when I arrived. I enjoyed my happy hour complimentary wine and thumbed the books n the bookshelf and admired the charming decor. Went to the room to unpack and met a friend for dinner. When I came back to the hotel around 11pm and walked to my room I heard very loud club music and a security guard was seated outside my room. I thought I had stumbled upon a secret entrance to a hot night club or hollywood event. The stairs directly across from my room led to the backroom of a nightclub, with VERY VERY loud music. So loud the ground and windows shook in my room and the bouncer was right outside my hotel door., I asked him how long the bumping bass and ground shaking music was going to last "til 2am" he said. I was shocked at how loud the music was, how late it was and how no there was no mention of any of this when I checked in. I was exhausted from a long business travel week and there was no way i would be able to sleep or drown out the music with TV or earplugs. C. J. moved me to a much smaller room on the top floor away from the music. It was small, had two double beds that were creaky and uncomfortable and none of the charm of the original room. no adjustment in price was offered or promise of discount in parking, breakfast, etc. VERY VERY Disappointed in this hotels lack of forewarning about the loud late music. I will never stay here again

Great place to stay in Koreatown, Los Angeles.
This was my second time staying at Hotel Normandie. While the hallways and room and look kind of old, the hotel and rooms are very clean and cozy. I did not experience any noise issues or trouble sleeping. I did not partake in the free evening wine tastings or free morning coffee service but they offer free bottles of water at the desk if you ask, which I think is great! The hotel is withink walking distance of various cafes and restaurants (check out Coco Ichibanya!), and you can even walk to Galleria Mall if you want to enjoy the nice California weather! It's about a 45 minute drive from LAX via Lyft/Uber (give or take traffic) and about 17 to the Convention Center/Crypto Arena downtown. Would definitely stay here again the next time I need a place to stay in LA.

My fabulous stay at hotel Normandie
The location is pretty central to most places and great if you love Korean food. The parking lot is also conveniently located kitty corner to the hotel so it was easy to access our rental car 24 hours a day with their onsite valet. The hotel staff is super friendly and responsive and constantly checked in via text so that was very much appreciated. I would stay here again. Another bonus is they have daily coffee and wine hour. The lobby is spacious and comfortable. I also enjoyed the music played.
