The unique thing about my stay was that everyone was so nice and helpful that I was very impressed: Mrs. Wendy at check-in, Mrs. Stacy in housekeeping, and Mr. Tim at check-out. I will remember this place on my next visit to Greenville, SC. No dislike at all.

Great staff, old building
Tim was amazing at the front desk! He was quick to help us when needed. As far as the building, there was a bad odor as soon as we entered the lobby. The room also smelled dirty. The condition of the room was older and in need of updates. The pull out mattress was very old and thinning. The kitchen and room carpet was old also. The staff was great, but pretty much the only thing this place has going for it.

There were no directions given from the front desk as to how to get to our room - not a biggie. The room itself was dated and smelled like body odor. The bathroom floor grout was black and probably hadn’t been cleaned since the 1900’s. The handles on the shower door were rusted and broken….but the bed …..the bed was SO COMFORTABLE!!!!!

The bed was very comfortable, but everything else was below average. The kitchen floor was sticky, the carpeted area had food on it that hadn't been vacuumed up, the sheets were worn out, the a/c did a poor job of cooling, and the toilet kept running. This is one of very few times I've written a poor review for anything, and this is my first experience staying at any Hilton brand hotel that I wouldn't recommend.

Front desk staff - Bad. On the phone at the same time she was checking us in. Reservation paid on the app. She wanted to charge again. Then, later I asked for more towels and pillows. She did not have with her but said she would send someone with it. Never came and 4 people showered with 3 towels and did not sleep as comfortably as could have slept.

Awful front desk staff
At check-oin the lady was on the phone. She charged my card three different times even though I booked through hotels.com. The website said $50 for a pet, she charged $75 and was very hateful and said we charge $75 and the site is wrong. Charged another $50 fee then a nights stay fee. She was so rude and hateful. If it wasn't 10 pm I would have tried to find somewhere else to stay but with almost $500 tied up on my card I was very upset too. I would never stay here again.

I reserved a room with 2 queen beds. I was given a room with single bed and a crappy uncomfortable sofa. When I asked to change it I was told that all is booked for the night and I should speak to the manager in the morning. Manager promised to move our things to another room when it will be cleaned after previous guest. Didn’t happen. I was promised a refund for one night out of two. Didn’t happen. The hotel system was supposedly down, so I couldn’t wait at the desk until I got my refund. They promised they will do the refund and I’m still waiting for any update at all. Apparently it is very hard for them to do anything about the reservation from hotels.com… so, I guess I will make sure to filter out Hilton when I’m searching next time. In addition breakfast was below average and everything was missing all the time and guests had to ask the staff to bring plates, cups, coffee and so on. One wing of the hotel does not have an elevator and guests need to go by foot along the whole wing to get to the room. The room is noisy due to central ac (or whatever) constantly working behind the wall. Staff were nice and polite but it turned out totally unprofessional. Really not recommending this property.

Very bad service. Got a very noisy room on the short end facing the freeway. Asked about possibilities to switch room, guided to come back after checkout 3pm. Returned and got a new message to come back after cleaning at 5pm, returned and was told there are other rooms available but they could not give me one just now because the system could not show how many was cleaned. Changing people all the time not communicating between each others. Gave up even though I knew they had many rooms available. First morning almost all breakfast was out at 08am, no forks or spoons available and the guests had to wait a long time for new. Got a rude reaction when I notified the receptionist about this. Third morning breakfast was out of Coffey. Otherwise nice rooms at the hotel and a nice lobby. But no customer care at all.
