Terrible for groups. They refused to seat 10 people together, even when there is clearly enough room at a table. We sat at hacienda at two tables. Because the tables were so big, we pulled our chairs to all sit at one of these two giant tables they gave us. There was plenty of room, but they refused to serve us and made us go back to the other table. 3 days and not one meal as a group. Great place, but they do not like groups and they don’t bend any of their rules, like a bunch of robots.

It was very grand and formal. The staff was super nice and always trying to take care of you. Our room was a very good size and comfortable. The property was beautiful. The food was very delicious. While we spent much of our time at the beach, the pool was huge with many activities and a swim up bar. There was also a smaller quieter pool. Beach attendants were constantly taking our orders. The palapas on the beach were big, shady and plentiful. Lots of fun colorful shells to find. The staff gives you a website when you check in with the activities for the day, menus at the restaurants, and who was celebrating birthdays, honeymoons, etc. The distance between the airport to the resort was around 30 min. The resort arranged our transportation. The cons were: men had to wear pants to dinner, no shorts allowed. Every meal the staff asked you several questions and seated you so there was no quick run up to get food and get back to the beach. Everything took time. Especially the check in took us an hour and half! The staff does it's best but the beach is sandy and rocky so wear beach shoes getting into the water. The property is spread out. There is a lot of walking but there are also a lot of golf carts always running around to assist you. Overall we would highly recommend this resort!

The location is perfect, away from the city. A great resort, food, entertainment, drinks, awesome and friendly service all around, it makes the whole package a unique experience. I loved the beautiful grounds, the service and friendly staff, the pools, the room, and the cleanliness. It felt like we were nearly the only ones there at times!! I did not like the shows and entertainment. Poor quality. The magician was the best show, the rest were below average. I also felt like the band and dj could have been better. The band was honestly pretty good and we enjoyed their music, but the dj and dance area wasnt that great. That atmosphere could improve for sure with music chosen that ha a good dancing beat and more encouragment from staff to get up and dance. It would be nice to have a couple people there to lead dancing and get people up on their feet and maybe even teach some line dancing or a few moves or something.
