    Great spot!
Great boutique hotel in an amazing location! Close to tons of food, drinks, and easy access to major tourist destinations. Really cool roof top bar with views of table mountain. Highly recommend!

    A Real Boutique Hotel
A true boutique hotel. The physical space and design was unique and special, but functional and comfortable. The entire staff made you feel like special guest. The restaurant menu was limited, but we'll prepared and presented. The piano bar each evening was warm and intimate. The location was perfect for dining and unique shopping opportunities. In addition, it is within easy walking distance of the VA Waterfront. Due to the various elevations in the property, those that are physically challenged, might opt for a different space.

    Good location and friendly service!
Lovely boutique hotel in a good area. Not far from the V&A port. It’s not quite walking distance to the wharf but very close. We used Uber to get there within minutes and it was only 2.34usd! The rooms are modern and cool. Great air conditioning, comfy bed and we had our own rooftop balcony. It is a little loud because our room (4) is in the hallway up to the rooftop bar. The staff was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. They have live music many nights, a restaurant and a front porch for sipping cocktails. Loved it and would go back!

Beautiful rooms. But the pool should be only for guests

The hotel is pretty nice. The rooms are a bit small but they have everything you need. I had a room with a porch which was wonderful. Water was a bit finicky in my room. I had to leave the water running for a while to get hot water (which in Cape Town, that feels wrong). Water was cut off randomly during one day of my 3 day stay. It was unclear why but it was fixed by the evening. Other than that my stay was fine. The food at the hotel is very good.

Boutique is the proper word, in a great way
The manager and staff were very nice and accommodating. I arrived early and they let me get in the room as soon as it was done, let me borrow an umbrella when it was supposed to rain, and helped me with transfer to the airport. I liked the atmosphere of the place. The only thing about my room was that it was on a second floor without an elevator, so it is a bit of a hassle to get your luggage up there. My bag wasn't heavy, so I didn't mind, just to let others know.

    Gay friendly neighborhood.
Nice hotel with a piano bar. Room was a little small, but comfortable. Piano Bar and restaurant was nice, but the service in the restaurant was slow. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. There were a few decent restaurants close by. Gay friendly neighborhood.

    Do not recommend
Our stay was extremely loud. The hotel is above a restaurant and below a club - only 6 or 7 rooms. Accordingly we heard dancing footsteps above our room all night and the room and common spaces smelled like fried fish from the restaurant. The room was tiny and the bathroom even more tiny. There were signs all over the place about the hotel not being responsible for items stolen from your room which was also disconcerting. The area around the hotel was charming and lively, but in no circumstance would I recommend this hotel.

A comfy room with a view....
Turned up at 2am’ish after a long flight and a very long wait through customs ..Thought that I had remembered the way there ..Nope! It’s not the easiest place to find so I recommend google on your phone or car sat nav .. takes it the family arguments!! .. ..we had been upgraded as it was our second visit, big room big bed and a terrace with views of Table Mountain. De Waterkant locale is full of hip and trendy shops only 20 mins walk from the V&A dock area driving is easy and parking it cheap R10 an hour 60p...The water shortages are taking its toll but just be sensible short showers and flush the loo only when necessary...There was no bottled still water on the shelves ... so wine beer or fizz is the other of the day ....enjoy it’s a lovely place can be a little noisy at night but it’s worth it !!

    Excellent stay, highly recommend
We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and it was such a pleasant stay. Pros: (1) warm, friendly, personable staff (2) great location; 15 minute walk from Bokaap, 15 minute walk to the waterfront (3) complimentary juices/drinks upon arrival (4) safe located inside the rooms (5) cozy quarters but comfortable bed
