Highly recommend! Our change of travel plans to include a hike on Bear Mt led to a late reservation and a warm welcome from the owners; both very personable and accommodating. Dinner was icing on the cake. Kudos to the chef for presentation, quality and taste that exceeded expectations - a true gem of a find. If in the area again, we would return without hesitation.

If you are looking for a (relative for the area) affordable and pleasant place to stay, the Alander is a great choice. Really nice vibe from the guests, too. Cute boutique hotel. We enjoyed our stay. Excellent communication with the managers. Easy self check-in. Room wasn’t as clean as we’d like (a couple hairs in the shower) but overall everything else was great.
