"Checking in was easy enough and the lobby is nice. Staff could have been friendlier but were instead discussing how soon they could leave. Bed was clean but everything else was kinda gross. The shower grout has never been cleaned, the couch in the room had questionable stains, the hair dryer was covered in dust. Shower took a while to get hot. The soap dispensers were all crusted up with old soap, should be cleaned. For two nights, we didn't complain, but for the price id expect a little more. Ive seen more well maintained hotels for less. Housekeeping staff was very sweet. Always said good morning and asking if we needed anything."
"From the outside, this hotel presents itself as a 4-star property, but the reality of the rooms is extremely disappointing. The rooms appear superficially renovated, but the quality is very low. Noise insulation is practically nonexistent — you can hear everything from neighboring rooms, other floors, and the hallway, even when staying far from the elevators.
The “continental breakfast” advertised on the website is also misleading. In reality, it consists of either one egg sandwich OR one pastry. Fruit, yogurt, and most additional items cost extra, and even coffee consumption feels monitored. While there is basic American coffee available, every small extra is charged separately, which is absolutely not the impression given online.
What made the experience worse was the staff’s dismissive attitude when concerns were raised. When I simply asked for a tray to carry my coffee to the table, the response I received was: “Darling, welcome, this is New York.”
For the price charged, the experience does not match the description, the expectations, or the level of service this hotel claims to offer."
"The place is a no frills hotel BUT very clean, perfectly located, room is large enough
and the staff couldn't be more helpful. I would recommend highly, If you are looking for a nice clean hotel this is it. No frills but very good value!"
"Standard room was smaller than small, grout in the bathroom was brown closet door was damage, I went and move to a better room and they charged me $57 more and it was just a step u from where I was. Not happy and will not stay at this hotel again."
"Check in staff was not interested, pointed to the lift but gave no instructions to get to room.
Under beds had not been cleaned for some time!
No instructions for coffee maker.
Lady at checkout was much more friendly and helpful, and if you don't mind the lack of vacuuming and going elsewhere for coffee, it's a great location and cheap."
