No Sleep
I was put in an executive floor room (floor 2). There is a nightclub downstairs that plays loud music from midnight until 8am. I moved rooms once to a different side of the hotel but on the same floor where the reception said it would be quiet. It made little difference. The room also smells very badly of smoke. A horrible experience and I will never return to this hotel.

Best hotel I decided to stay in Dubai
I must say before going to Dubai I didn’t know where to stay but I am so glad I stayed at Roda Al Marooj. Everyone is so friendly, eager to help with everything you need, perfect location. Right in front of Burj Khalifa, and Dubai Mall. The smell of hotel I enjoyed as well made me feel happy for some reason. The staff at the door, counter etc were amazing. hey even helped me get the safari package, which was btw incredible. I embraced the culture and bought the Arab outfit they use and the staff helped me put the “Kandura” on correctly.

Requested a quiet room. We were assigned a room within steps of overlooking an elevated highway out our second floor window. The traffic noise was extremely loud and continuous. The air conditioning was broken so the suite was extremely hot and uncomfortable. We could not open the windows because of the traffic noise.
