It was OK
There were a lot of pros and cons for Hotel Angeleno. Pros: 1. while the restaurant is closed due to COVID, it serves the room service and the food was so good!!! 2. The staff was friendly and quick 3. There is a wine happy hour in the cafe! Cons: 1. The beds were not very comfortable, and they provide veryyyy thin sheets and a blanket. Both my boyfriend and I woke up with achy backs 2. Our tv did not work properly and would switch inputs randomly so we couldnt enjoy the chrome cast they provide. 3. There is very little sound barrier between rooms and the hallway, and also in the own room and bathroom. 4. I paid a bit extra for a “killer view” and that isn’t how I would describe it. Our view was directly into the apartments across the street. For what I paid, it wasn’t worth it. Maybe when COVID lifts and the amenities are open again. Maybe.

It was great, comfortable... sadly the rooms are actually small, for the price. But im guessing youre paying more for the beautiful view then the room itself. Wish the rooms were bigger for more space.

Very good
Everything was fine. The room was billed as “killer view” but it was a view of the freeway, the sink drain was busted so I had to shave in the shower, but they ended up fixing the sink after I got out of the shower. I also thought breakfast would be free for two people since I booked for two people, but upon ordering breakfast, I was told I wouldn’t be getting a credit. I then had to go down to the front desk, email them my reservation from Hotels.com, and we finally compromised for one breakfast credit. A night that was supposed to be a distraction from work and the pandemic turned into just another night hahaha

West Los Angeles Gem
We stay here frequently when we visit family in LA. Best bet in the West LA area. Very convenient. Good value. Food is excellent but only available through room service during pandemic. We always get a high floor to mitigate traffic noise from 405 freeway. Always great service and they never charge us for valet parking.

Atrocious
Absolute Worst Pl., I’ve ever stayed in my life. Service is bad, employees were horrible, and they don’t even tell you that they do not have guest parking or parking for people that are paying to stay there. They wait until you get there and then they say you have to use that letter which is $40 a night or you have to park your car in a not so nice area. I think they must be teamed up with people who break into cars so that’s why they made people park a quarter-mile down the street or use their valet and which they do not tell you that you can only use the Valet until you get there

Homicidal valets!
VALET PARKING MANDATORY DRUNG A PANDEMIC?!?!? I am in LA working at several old age homes - there is ZERO CHANCE THAT I CAN ALLOW 2 strangers in my car every day. I offered to pay the $34 valet fee but that too was impossible. When a Hotel Angeleno guest dies of Covid-19 the liability payments will be impressive. Also exceptionally unfriendly about it.
