The Williamsburg Suites is an SRO hotel not meant for tourists and visitors. Stay away from this place. Not clean, not safe. Their website is a complete deception.

The price and location was the most convenient, the staff was very accomodating as there was not enough towels or toilet paper in the room, there was just 2 pillows per bed that were extremely thin, but for the price that we paid we didnt want to make a fuzz from it, next time bring your own pillows so it can be a bit more comfortable, qlso there was no staff at 830 am that would allow to check out, nor a way to check out electronically. Still the best of this visit was mr. Tim (front desk clerk), he was the most gracious and hospitable!

2nd time we stayed and back again, the night manager is the best of this place, he made sure all went well.with us in every way he could, now, about the property, this time we saw some little bugs here and there but we were on 1st floor, so it might have been that. You should absolutely avoid this property. The few guests there appear to be individuals without permanent housing. Towels, soap, even a trash can were not in the room. Dead and live insects. No TV Apparently because the cable bill was unpaid by the owner. It is a dive. You truly do get what you pay for.

I booked a room for my family. I received a confirmation number and proof of reservation. I called the morning of my reservation to inform front desk we’d be checking in late (8pm). The employee said no problem bc someone would be at the front desk until 10pm to check us in. When we arrived at 8pm I was told there was no room available. The employee had no explanation. She was rude and did not apologize for the major inconvenience. We could not find another hotel in Williamsburg. We had to drive 20 miles away to find closest hotel room in Newport News.

I had to search for the staff on check in. There were no towels or soap available in the room and I had to go back and request these. She stated that I was lucky to get the towels that I got when she gave them to me. This hotel is being used for temporary housing for transient populations. We were woken up in the middle of the night (1 AM) due to the fact that there is no management system of room occupancy. When I called the front desk to state someone was trying to get into our room she stated, "Don't be paranoid, just open the door and talk to housekeeping to say you are occupying the room." This is terribly unsafe.

We arrived to this hotel to check in after a long day. We were informed that this hotel did not have the accommodations as advertised on the website. The website was very misleading. Needless to say we did not stay here and will not be recommending this to anyone else. Here we were 4 hours from home rushing to find a room to accommodate 7 guests. It was a terrible experience.
