Loved staying at The Hayden
The accommodations were excellent. The Hayden thought of everything to assist us with our trip. Rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, the bathrooms were large and contemporary. They provided nice snacks, coffee machines chocolates, water, an umbrella and a welcome cocktail and the staff and food was top notch.

Really comfortable stay
Terrific job with checking in.. had really rough travel day and these folks eased our stress. Dwight the GM actually lugged our suitcases up 3 flights for us.. totally unexpected and very appreciated. The room is a decent size and everything was clean and in place. Bed was really good. Loved the dimmers on the lights.. and the huge chandelier delivers tons of light. Room was relatively sound proof, another huge plus. Water was hot and pressure strong. The restaurant was a nice plus and gave us an easy first night. Portions ample, tasty, reasonably priced. Everyone was VERY nice, helpful, professional. In short, it met the lofty ratings we saw before booking. Negatives? If departing around 8 as we had to do, you’ll be handling your luggage and it needs to go to the basement, then up a flight to the street. Not sure if there’s an arrangement you can make to solve that problem, but i never asked.. so no idea. After 9 am, you’ll have help. I’d score it a 9.3… great value, highly recommend. Would stay there again!

This place was fabulous! Such a nice part of town and their food and service was fabulous. If you like a nice beer as you wind down, they will deliver it to your room. Nathan and George were such wonderful hosts! Nathan makes you feel as if you were at home! You won't be disappointed staying here.

Staff was extremely kind and personable and treated us as guests who were staying in their home — even helped carry our luggage to our room. The hotel has a very traditional British feel to it, with a pub underneath the bedrooms and dog renaissance paintings in the hallways and rooms. The room was very comfortable and spacious with a very luxurious bathroom and shower. It included an espresso machine and USB wall chargers. TV package was expansive with free Netflix access. Food and drink in the pub were both good as well. Among the five hotels we stayed in during our European vacation, this one was our favorite.

What a welcome! Staff was so incredibly friendly. We were surprised to see how beautifully appointed the room was. It was about a 12 minute walk (with luggage) to Paddington. Note that there are some steep stairs you’ll have to maneuver (no elevator). That didn’t spoil anything for us though!

Best we've stayed in around Paddington
A very nice , welcoming place . Booked in , with complimentary drinks to boot , very nice pint of Aspells it was too . Sat and had a nice lunch and the food was superb along with the room . The perfect place to rest our weary head's after a fantastic Stevie Nick's gig at Hyde Park. Highly recommended

We had a fabulous stay, we were offered a welcome drink on arrival, even though we’d arrived before 3pm our room was made ready while we ate brunch, which was delicious. Our room was on the top floor, it was well appointed, bedding was great quality, everything was clean and beautifully presented. All the extras were so thoughtful, a fridge with complementary water and chocolate, biscuits, crisps, a pod coffee machine and milk frothier! Fresh milk could be requested. The service was exceptional, we will be back.

We couldn’t be more happy that we booked and stayed at the Hayden Pub and Rooms. What a gem! From the moment we arrived we were taken care off. We arrived early so we could drop our bags and were offered a drink (we chose coffee since it was morning lol) and in the meantime our room was being readied. Suitcases were taken upstairs for us which was very nice. The room was very nice, clean with coffee/tea tray. Even the hallways are nice with artwork on the walls. Within walking distance to Kensington Palace and Gardens, underground stations and plenty of restaurants including Dishoom. IYKYK. We ate lunch at the pub downstairs before getting on the Heathrow Express with a beer and a cider and the food was awesome. (Burger and fish tacos) We will definitely stay again when we return to London in the future.

After a 14 hour flight the hotel was easy to travel to by bus from London Paddington station. A very warm greeting on arrival. Assistance with bags to 2 floor stairs. Our room was excellent facilities excellent, bed very comfortable. Able top windows in both bedroom and bathroom. We will return at then of our vacation. Food in the pub excellent.

Truly excellent in every way. They do not have lifts/elevators but they go out of their way to help with luggage. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. A special mention for Dwight. I enjoyed the welcome drink which was very generous. Very nice pub too. This is now my go to choice for a hotel in London.

We cannot say enough good things about The Hayden! First, the staff is extremely kind and helpful. They truly make you feel that they love having you stay. The bed is extremely comfortable and the shower is amazing! Though the rooms are adjacent to the pub, you do not hear any noise. The pub food is excellent! The coffee is fantastic. The location is very convenient to Hyde Park and Kensington Palace. It is a very short walk to Paddington Station and other Tube stations.Be sure to go to BEAM down the street for extraordinary breakfast. We will be returning to The Hayden in the future and sending our friends!!
