Very nice place, loved the dog that they have, coco, she takes you to the restroom every time and hangs out with you. The bed is very comfortable as well as the tent it self. Very clean and organized. The staff that is on property is very nice and goes out of their way to get you what you want. His name is Jose Angel. We will definitely be back with more people. Thank you.

The property has so much potential, however, the service is extremely poor and the price was way too much for the experience we received. Upon arrival, we were told that a the first bundle of firewood was included in the rate. It was never received so we never got to enjoy a fire. It was very cold and the bed only had one blanket. I asked if there were additional blankets and was told "no", I was told that they could provide a heater for an additional charge. I agreed to the charge and we left for dinner. Upon returning from dinner, there was no staff, no way to contact any staff, no firewood, and no heater. I couldn't understand how an additional blanket could not have been provided, or how all of the promised amenities were forgotten when there were only two other tents occupied. In total, there were three couples there. The bathrooms need some repair as one had a towel rack that had fallen and was laying on the ground, and the showers are in various states of disrepair. While the beds were comfortable, being cold all night made for a miserable sleep. It is a shame because this property could be fantastic, and I see many good reviews, but it seems that the owners/management do not care to provide a consistent experience. I cannot recommend.

We hesitantly reserved this property, in part because of other reviews, but I believe in trying things for myself. No regrets at all! We arrived and checked the property out before exploring the wineries - I have been going to Valle de Guadalupe for over 20 years. Sara, the attendant, was fabulous and welcoming. After enjoying the Valle, we returned and immediately, Sara had our fire pit all set up and our complimentary bottle of wine ready for us. There were at least 4 other guests but we all kept to our own thing, music and all until late into the night (early morning really). We came prepared with ear plugs because of the roster, and yes, they will make noise early in the morning. The restrooms were a little but of a hassle, only two for the entire campground. That said, they were very clean and well stocked. I would definitely return and recommend.

This is a great concept unfortunately the maintenance is Lacking. We have no complains about the staff, they did the best they could. We arrived early to choose our tent, regret we weren’t the only ones that made the tent a home. It was infested with earwigs !! After the tent being clean 3 times they just keep coming back. I am writing this so the property owners can do something about it. We did have other friends that came with and they didn’t have any bugs. I do have to mention that & again the staff were great. But this place can use a bit of TLC... like trimmed pathways, better bathrooms since they only have 2, lighting. With minor improvements this place could be amazing

We went to check in and found our room was already occupied by pincher bugs. We were mostly concerned after opening the windows and found no less than 7 well fed pincher bugs IN the bed and under the sheets. My jacket had been on the bed for about 5 minutes and had one crawling on it. Maybe you're cool with bugs, if so cool, book it! We sat outside, enjoyed a cigar, and drive home for the evening. Staff was super nice.

It was loud atmosphere for it to be a camping idea , tent had mold along the walls . Our heater went out and was told they come and fix it and nothing aswell with help with our fire out side it never happened . The only great idea was the comfortable bed oh and the ride in was 10 min in with pure bumps and rocks

If you stay here, you will definitely need ear plugs and insect repellent. The campground is small and tidy, however, it is right next to a ranch. We woke at 4 AM to the sound of roosters, chickens, dogs and coyotes, horses and cow bells. The animals did not stop until 8 AM. By that time the sun was out, and it was too hot to sleep. The day we arrived, we asked to be moved to a different tent, because the smell of manure from the ranch next door was too much. They gladly accommodated us, and the other couple that was with us, by moving us to different tents. The hot water is heated by propane tank, we didn’t have hot water initially, until my husband went to see the groundskeeper to turn it on. After coming to Valle Guadalupe, we discovered several other glamping grounds that had triple the luxury for the same price. So this glamping location is definitely overpriced . The positives: The tent is very intimate, the bed is super comfortable, and the fire pit at night under the stars is priceless.

We came to Valle de Guadalupe to celebrate 2 Birthdays and thought the concept off glamping was interesting. We checked in with a young man named Enrique who seems to be the groundskeeper but really doesn’t know anything about service or much about what should be offered. It seems that there is a meat/ cheese board and a bottle of wine offered with each tent. We were staying in two tents and he said that they used to do the meat/cheese board and it is really a glass of wine per person not a bottle. Tents are nice but, no electricity and earplugs would have been great because there is a rooster ranch next door with about 50 roosters that do not sleep! Bathrooms are very, very rustic and fortunately they are adding additional bathrooms because there are only 2 right now for 9 tents. Continental breakfast was okay but, minor details would have made a world of difference. The concept is great but, making some small changes and having someone on site that knows more about guest hospitality is greatly needed. No room clean up, no garbage cans in rooms, many insects and spiders in bathrooms, the boiler kept turning off while I was trying to showet. The only plus is they the bed was very comfortable and it was a great weekend but, we will not stay here again.
