No heat / No shower
We had a very disappointing first stay at Hyatt House this weekend. The heat in our room did not work at any point for our stay.
We loved the open layout of the room and great kitchen space. The bathroom unfortunately contained various amounts of hair and other people's fingernails clippings on the ground upon arrival. Later we discovered the drain to the shower was clogged to the point the tub would begin filling almost immediately after turning on. The entire bathroom experience was unsanitary and frustrating. After discussing the situation with the staff we were advised the room should only take around an hour to reach preferred temperature. At this point we had been checked in for about 7 hours.
We were told no rooms were available to switch and given additional blankets. The last working this evening was very apologetic and professional. She does an exception job by the way. I wish I had caught her name.
After our final attempts to rotate our room keys through the eco block that keeps the lights on we gave up for the night. It was so cold in the room we barely slept. After checking out the next morning we got the pleasure of trekking through the snow to grab our vehicle at their sister hotel's parking garage.
The staff was amazing but the experience was terrible. We won't be back.
