2/10 Poor

I’ll pass on this place next time.
The largest issue we had with this place was that they didn’t have our room ready for 2 hours after the check in time. We did not get our room until 6:00pm. Then they did hardly anything to remedy the situation, they upgraded our room to something I didn’t really want. Our phone, in the room, was broken and it took 20 minutes to get a hold of someone at the front desk. What if there was an emergency?!? The room was also dirty, the floors were not cleaned, we had no towels and there were cobwebs on the lamps. Also the blinds were broken and yoi could hear everything through the walls, I did not see a single staff member the entire time during my stay after initial check in. The swimming pool was crowded, people were climbing the waterfall and jumping off and running all around, seemed really unsafe. Although my family and I had a decent time I would never stay here again. They must be extremely short staffed or have all together stop caring. Poor service

Not so good, no hot water for the 3 days that we were there. Front desk said they fixed it and that was not the case. These rooms were over $300 a night and the only refund that was given was not charging us the hotel resort fee which was $56. Will never go back here.

Horrible Experience- Do Not Book
It was absolutely terrible. They have a hot water issue and this issue was not disclosed to me before or even at the time of check in for our stay. Had to find out the hard way when trying to shower and there was no hot water. Our toilet didn’t work. The hot tub and heated pool was out of service due to the issue . Sheets on the beds were 100 years old and disgusting. When maintenance was sent to our room to fix the toilet he knocked once and then opened the door to me naked in a towel. He then left to get his tools and when he returned he didn’t even knock he just walked in. The maintenance guy also changed the shower head in our room and then said that the hot water works when it didn’t. The entire resort had an issue not just our room so he lied to us. I wasn’t able to shower all weekend. This was my first time leaving my little kids in 3 years. What was suppose to be a relaxing short getaway was ruined because the resort was dishonest and couldn’t be upfront about their issues at the time of check in. And to top it all off their cafe espresso machine was broken so I couldn’t even get a damn coffee in the mornings. I’ve lost all trust for this place and will not be returning. I don’t get to leave and spend time with friends hardly ever so I’m very disappointed that the one opportunity I had was ruined by Zerrmatt resort. (The photo is me trying to sit in the tub long enough for hot water to come out - which it didn’t.)

Waited over 3 hours for a room
Upon checking in, we discovered the heat was not working in our room. The front desk told us to wait 3 hours outside of the room for them to fix it, rather than giving us another room. We waited. They couldn’t fix it, so after 3.5 hours we were given a different room. The main building had a horrible smell from the boiler being broken. Overall, we were really disappointed in our experience here.

Almost a stay
They called before check-in to say they had a water leak but it would be fixed before we checked in. Unfortunately, after driving all the way there, I found out at the desk it wasn't fixed so we didn't have a room. She said they would cancel my reservation without a fee, as if that was accommodating, but we wasted time and gas to turn around and drive right back home same day. The lack of communication and lack of willingness to make amends for the inconvenience of having to cancel our vacation was very frustrating. So, we never actually stayed there... but from what I saw when trying to check in, it looked very nice.

Beautiful location and nice hotel well kept on the exterior and surroundings. Staff mostly very helpful annd friendly. Inside it’s all a little dated and could use a renovation. Carpets in hallways worn ( first floor), fitness center machines seats mostly chipped plastic, not maintained to change all weights. All sauna, steam rooms closed despite full resort fee charged. Those I was hoping to use. Bakery has small awesome selection but room next to it could use some decoration and a touch of personality / warmth. Feels like a doctors waiting room. The restaurant very nice menu and we enjoyed famous filet Wellington one night! Overall we loved to town and the place was nice especially now in fall.

It took us 45 minutes to check-in. Then we were not given proper directions to room/villa/condo. Went up and down the elevator and found out that the room was in a far away building. When we opened the door, there was a very bad smell in the room like it had not been aired in months. The carpet was dirty - so dirty that I never took my shoes off. The carpet was coming apart at the seams. We simply walked off. The elevator call button was broken. You have to take stairs to go up and down. Overall a terrible experience.
