disappointed
The lock did not work right on the door, the water in the shower was steaming hot and it was hard to turn off, the coffee pot did not work. The check in told me there was breakfast but did not tell me correct time, so I missed it.....I don't like having to give a deposit for a one night stay...

I guess I rented a suite..didn’t even realize it until I got to the room..turns out this means the door to the adjoining room is removed. Very creepy feeling! Oh well..anyway, the motel has given up..this place is garbage! Everything needs repair! Toilet flapper feel apart and constant running..put broken piece in place to stop it room 252

Before i say what im gonna say, this hotel is older but its not a bad one. We stayed here when we have early flights from Reagan. Its more motel than hotel. Compare to staying at your grandmas house. Its tidy and clean but the house is old and the tub drips and and some of the guts work but are old. But its cozy. They did a good job trying to make it look more up to date inside. They do have some kind of breakfast thing, but ive never been to it since we have early flights.i dont think the area is the best but i have not seen any sketch going on. The price is cheap for the area and you cant beat free parking by DC. There is no elevator, but its only two stories, so no biggie. Its convenient to nice area restaurants or go catch a show at the Anthem or enjoy the Wharf Area if you have time. Its super close. Overall I will stay here over and over again. Its a good hotel.

Beware: This is a motel, not a hotel
The name is deceiving as this is a motel and not a hotel. I don't think I would have stayed there if I had known that. The pictures don't reflect that this is a motel. I had put a note in my reservation requesting a late check out. I got no response, so I called. The woman I spoke with said that late check out was no problem. The cost was $25. Late check out was 1pm and just to tell the person at the front desk when I checked in. When I checked in, they told me late check out was not availabe. This was a huge issue for me. They finally let me have the late check out. The room was clean, but had a horrible musty/mildew smell. The bed was uncomfortable and hard. There were workers in the room next door doing construction until after 9pm.

I am stunned at how poorly managed this place is. I arrived 2 hours before check-in and was told if I paid 25 dollars I coukd check in early. I had wanted to leave my bags there whole I went off to explore but decided to pay the 25usd. What the staff did not say is that the hotel does not store luggage there. I had a paid tour booked for 100usd and when I went to check out they then informed me that they under no circumstances store luggage. Neither is there a luggage facility at DCA. The reason I stayed here was convenience to the airport. When a customer asked about the jam being out for "breakfast" she was basically told tough, we are out. No coffee in the espresso machine which renders it useless. This hotel must be a cover for some criminal org. Stay away.

Big room. Could use some upgrading. The bathroom ceiling was leaking. But it was comfortable

2/10 Poor

Starts off with a pungent smell in the room. Then ceiling in the bathroom looked like it was gonna fall in and was plastered in multiple spots through out the room. The outlet had water damage or maybe fire damage. The walls were so thin you could hear the neighbor and anytime the water ran you could hear it throughout the room. Pictures definitely not what it really is like

Overnight Stat
Upon checking in the young lady was not friendly nor communicative. We were given a room in the first building on the backside upstairs, room 1 2 2. In entering the room it smelt old and stuffy, the microwave was falling apart, there was a very large frame picture of George Washington on the wall and we felt like his eyes was staring at us. The bathtub had cracks and it appeared to be mold around the base of the bathtub. Sitting on the toilet it seemed like it would break at any moment and it's very tight as far as space between the sink and the toilet. The worst was the beds when we woke up we both had bites all over our body my daughter's eye was swollen and the bites seem to match bed bug bites. We didn't eat breakfast and checked out extremely early. The young lady at checkout was the best thing about that building. The ice machine is in building 2 on the back side, this is not a hotel it is a motel.
