Great place but not so great breakfast
Good location, clean and nicely decorated rooms. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. There's also a great roof top breakfast area but unfortunately the breakfast was a let down. Why is there no fresh bread in a country like Italy that makes some of the best breads? There was only sliced bread and small cakes, croissants from packages.

Break in Rome
We stayed as a family of 3, son's first time in Rome. The hotel suited our needs for our 3 day (4 night) trip. We stayed in a triple room. Son said his bed was a bit soft, though he slept well. I found the big bed a little hard. We could have done with a side table for him and a few drawers for clothes. I found the shower/bath a bit high to get in/out of. We only did breakfast once - it was nice sit sit on the terrace. We sat up there in the evening too, which was nice. The hotel is a fairly short walk from the main sights in quiet cobbled street, it felt quite safe. We managed to do the Coliseum, Palatine Hill, the Forum, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps in our 3 days, even with queueing for tickets. There are some nice places to eat by the Coliseum and by the hotel. The burger place opposite the hotel is good, though quite small and you need be prepared to wait. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and sorted our airport transfers, both ways. They even checked that our transfer had picked us up on leaving, as the driver was a bit late due to a marathon taking place. Be aware - allow plenty of time to go through the airport (Fuimicino) - Passport Control is just before the departure gate (which was another trek to get to once through) - we nearly missed our plane as we weren't aware, along with many others. Overall, we had a great time and would stay in this hotel again if we ever return to Rome.

6/10 Good

When booking a hotel inRome we’re.iced that this year the cost everywhere was highly inflated. We knew the price here was very high but we’re hoping to find a hidden gem. But we did not. First of all, the staff were very friendly and helpful. No problem there. They have an outdoor, roof terrace for breakfast and for use at other times. However, our room was the disappointment. For a triple it was pretty small. The biggest problem was the room condition. The walls were a mess with dirty rub marks all over, that had obviously been there for a long time. This is an easy problem to solve and when charging over 350 Euros a night, it should have been. I would not recommend.

I loved the way the staff Leslie reached out to ensure our sunday afternoon check in was seamless. She was exceptional. The morning we checked out didn't go so well, for some reason there wasn't hot water to shower. We had to shower with cold water even though the staff tried to fix the issue. It wasn't fun at all. All in all they made sure our stay was actually very pleasant. Thanks

Charming and very European. The staff were very friendly. Since it is a smaller boutique place, the reception hours are not 24 hours.
