Clean motel, friendly service. One of the older inns. The only negative is the railroad tracks directly behind our room shakes the whole building and No in-room coffee maker. Great price for an overnighter. Would definitely stay here again.

Best place to stay in Van Horn
The desert inn was the best place I stayed on my trip. The staff are so kind and helpful and even stayed late for me when I knew I wouldn't arrive by check in time. They saved me from another cold night in the woods! The rooms aren't the biggest or fanciest but they're very nice and absolutely cannot be beat for the price. Would absolutely stay again and will only ever stay here if I'm in Van Horn.

The bathroom vanity was broken on bottom door and water stained. They could do with a few "soft" pillows as I woke with a neck ache. But overall it was very clean and comfy and I would stay there again and the price was great!!!

You won’t find a better deal for the price. No frills but it was clean and quiet. It’s close to the train tracks, but I always bring ear plugs because I am a light sleeper. It didn’t seem to bother me. I travel about 100 nights a year, I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay, well maintained for an almost historic place. Definitely captures the vibe of a small town in a nice structure. I enjoyed mysay. Walls seem thicker than the newer inns and hotels.

Great find!
Definitely an older property, but our room was redone and lovely. The edges of the dresser/credenza were slightly worn-looking, but only slightly. Everything else looked new or at least in excellent condition. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and spacious and all for a low price. The gentleman in the office was kind and efficient. Absolutely couldn't ask for more. Thank you, Sir! We'll be back.

Nice Small No Frills Motel
Nice small motel. Backed car up to door to unload. Only thing I should mention for other travelers is that it is close to a train track. I love trains so the noise didn’t bother me but you may want earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Will definitely stay again.

This is an older property in a not so good area of town (many businesses closed). But the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bath was clean. Thus, it offered good value. Management was friendly and helpful.
