Hotel was nice, great location near eateries, shopping and skiing. Good complimentary breakfast with friendly staff. Room is good with some modern improvements, could just use a little more detailing and cleaning. Overall a good stay at a place I would come back to.

This is THE place to stay in Salida.
Would prefer not to recommend; it is such a great, newly upgraded motel (by owners/contractors) who know who guests would appreciate for a stay!!! Second stay here and my “go to” on future visits to one of the best small, historical, mountain towns in Colorado. Salida is a year/round recreation area, great restaurants, shops, arts, etc.

Outstanding, extremely comfortable one night stay
What an amazing, well kept, updated place to stay! Room temperature was great. The private salt water hot tub and steam sauna room was just what we needed. Beds were comfortable -- slept like a baby! Kitchenette was great to have as was the coffee maker. Breakfast was the standard that you get at most hotels in the US now a days but was attended to by 2 very attentive women. All staff was extremely pleasant. No room key needed as all doors have numerical key pads on them keyed to an identifier of yours. Convenient location. We only live 2.5 hrs from there but will go back just for the experience!
