6/10 Good

Not bad but not great, noisy
Very friendly and warm and good service but i felt a bit unsafe in the area around the hotel, especially as a solo traveller plus it’s a bit of a walk into town and to Piccadilly station. The room was nice enough and good size but there was no soundproofing within the hotel and was kept up by creaks of people walking around and noise of people in the corridor. The breakfast was also the worst I’ve ever had. The service and staff were really friendly and welcoming though so that was something. Definitely overpriced at £120 for the night.

It did the job
It as fine and would consider staying again if we are that end of town. No food, microwave food available in reception. Car park not the easiest to find first, parking could be limited if full I guess

Overnight stay close to Manchester City Centre.
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Great value for money. We had a huge room with a kitchenette and sitting area, and a really comfortable bed! Only downside was it doesn’t have a bar, but they are happy for you to bring your own booze in.

Lovely Hotel
Really lovely hotel, would definitely recommend and stay again in the future. Close enough to walk to main train stations and city centre for shopping etc but not too close that you get the noise of a city centre. We did have a bit of an issue the morning we checked out as there was no hot water seemingly throughout the hotel, not just our room, so made for an uncomfortable cold wash before heading out to the Christmas markets. There was also a bit of confusion with payment when booking through hotels.com as I was under the impression I’d paid when booking but then found out I was to pay on arrival, receptionist was great though and explained it’s a problem they’ve been having and it’s being looked into

Nice hotel
Hotel, just 15 minutes walk to city centre, breakfast value for money,no pork bacon and sausage which was disappointing but plenty of other choice cereals, fruits, cakes ect. Rooms very large ,spotless, bed comfortable but pillows very firm, woke up with a stiff neck.

A lovely little gem close to the city!
Have used The Ainscow Hotel for two business trips now, and for the price, you really do get great comfort and value. Lovely to see the complimentary tea/coffee machine in reception with the lovely lounge where you can relax prior to your room being ready. The rooms are great, with apartment style decor - I especially love the bathrooms with The White Company toiletries complimentary, although the step into the bath in room 214 might be a bit tricky if you're shorter or have mobility issues. Some stains on the carpet were the only real signs of wear and tear, but overall clean, comfortable and very nice rooms for a short stay in the city, and an easy walk to Deansgate in around 10-15 mins. Breakfast was decent, although having a coffee machine like the one in the lobby in the breakfast room would've been awesome, as I felt that one gave a better quality drink to start your day. I'll definitely be back on my next business trip to Manchester!

Good but could be better
It was good. Nice room, but frustrating to have a bath that there wasn’t enough hot water to use. No glasses in the room for drinks.

Too hot, small bed but ok
The hotel was in a good location for our theatre trip. The room was massive, but a small double bed wasnt ideal. Staff were friendly. Sadly, despite the heating be off in the room, it must have been on full throughout the hotel.as it was so, so hot. We had windiws open all night, but the heat was suffocating and coupled with a smaller than normal bed, we had a poor sleep.
