Check in was a relatively simple affair, although there was confusion over the car parking charges. I had received an email stating that it was £5 for 24hrs but the Hotel stated it was actually £7 for 24hrs. Inevitably, I was only charged £5. Where do the Hotel operators expect their customers to park, other than in the designated car park. Just another hidden charge. Dinner was only available in the bar area and the menu is very extensive, very predictable fayre. Breakfast is very good with a large selection of buffet hot and cold foods.

Be early for breakfast
Stayed here on the Wednesday night in August, seems popular for businesses for the meeting rooms etc. I was here when the rugby team barbarians were staying here, so I was keen to get to breakfast early before it all went! A nice touch is that they have a takeaway coffee machine, so you can grab a brew when you find even hit the road
