This is an amazing property with fab services. The location is stunning and the whole property is really tastefully designed and decorated. Rooms are lovely. But the resort is tired. The beach not quite swimmable. We only stayed one night, but the checkin process was annoying. It tried to be a five star process but we had to pull up confirmation emails, sign forms and it took a while. Then they wanted to do a 5 minute spa presentation. We declined and asked to be taken to our rooms. It was too much. The effort is there but that same effort is awkward.

We stayed in Plataran resorts in Borabadur and Labuan Bajo. The rooms and facilities are outstanding. The food and service are good. This is an excellent jumping off point to go to Komodo island marine park. The only thing to keep in mind is that you can't walk into the water off the beach because of crabs.
