Great location in old part of Lecce
The hotel is located in the old part of Lecce, and is a perfect location if you want to explore Lecce by foot. We had a rental car which we could park in the parking basement of the hotel for 10 euro per day which was less than for the parking nearby (and more practical!). The room was nice and clean. The only minus was having the bathroom just outside the bedroom (although private) so we had to use a key to go in and out of it. A big plus for the great breakfast!

Different - and not everybody's cup of tea!
We texted ahead but still found the hotel locked and unattended on arrival. Eventually hauled ourselves up four flights of stone stairs to find, despite specifically requesting twin beds for father and adult son, we had been given a double. Told there were no twins - despite being listed as booking options. We pulled the two halves of the double apart, took one sheet each (no spare sheets, blankets or pillows) and made do - but the resultant beds were so narrow that I fell out on turning over in the night, cut my head and bruised my knee. Room furnishings very sparse; no drawers, no desk, one small chair. The website photos really flatter this hotel! No English spoken or understood, so very difficult to communicate. Wi-fi worked, but no English language TV channels. "Reception" was cluttered and untidy, seeming to double as the superintendent's sitting room. Constant pop videos on TV! Bathroom was all fine, with a good shower. No cleaning or bedmaking - until we had a spill and breakage, and had to persuade the superintendent to come and clear it up! Breakfast was just adequate with not much to commend it. One cup of coffee served. One juice. One jam. One meat, one cheese (same each day) 2 flavours of yogurt, some fruit, cakes and bread. All that said, it's quite an interesting and "different" set-up, right in the middle of town with everywhere walkable. It's inexpensive too, so some of the negatives are perhaps fair enough. Try it for a short stay; you may like it.

Beautiful B&B in the centre of Lecce
Me and my husband stayed at Dimora Vicolo Corto for a weekend (June 2017) and it was exactly what we wanted. It had a real Italian feel and the rooms were clean and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was lovely and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful (Alessandra very kindly helped us when we got lost finding the place before check-in and stayed up late, as we didn't check in until midnight due to a late flight!) :) The B&B is situated in the central square of old town Lecce, meaning you are in walking distance from many shops, cafes, restaurants and local attractions. I would highly recommend Dimora Vicolo Corto when staying in Lecce and me and husband will definitely be returning in the future! :)

Great for Easy Access to the old town
Great little gem. The owner is incredibly helpful and we discovered that they have parking for €10 per night - wouldn't strongly recommend allowing then owner to park your car, it is steep and narrow, the couple before us scratched their rental :(. If I hadn't to be picky I would say breakfast is a little limited. My husband is vegan and the selection for him was slim. It was also slightly annoying that they don't have toilet roll holders. If you have any diabilities there is no lift and pretty much all of the rooms are upstairs. For me though, these things are minor and I would absolutely stay again and recommend this hotel.

Hotel located in a quiet side street with private parking for 10€. I missed the e mail asking about our arrival time so had to call when we arrived as no reception. Our friendly host arrived within 5 minutes. Breakfast basic but plentiful. Plenty of restaurants in surrounding area.

Well placed (but difficult to find) in town centre
Helpful staff, but when I had foolishly left my car in the nearby car park which was also a marketplace because I could not find the road route to the hotel, they told me the car would be all right, but it was removed. Good pub/craft beer restaurant nearby, and I was directed to an excellent fish restaurant.

Nice apartment with character in central Lecce
We liked our stay in central Lecce at Dimora Vicolo Corto. The apartment was huge with a large living room, open plan kitchen and 2 good sized bedrooms in a very characterful old building on the edge of the central tourist area. We were able to park in the underground parking lot (extra charge). The breakfast was basic (meats and cheeses with bread) but satisfactory. Wifi worked only intermittently. The only difficult bit is driving the last 100m through narrow streets with lots of turns where a large car would invariably run into trouble. I liked the location of this apartment very much as it let us get out of Lecce easily to visit other parts of Salento (Otranto, Gallipoli etc) and had loads to do at the doorstep including tons of shops, bars and restaurants a few steps away. I recommend this but take a small car and walk around a lot to enjoy the city while the car is parked away.

Lovely family run accommodation - great location
Having ambled through the streets from the station I was very pleasantly surprised on arrival at Dimora Vicolo Corto. The gates were locked and I had to telephone them to let them know we had arrived but they were there within a minute to check us in. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Seemed to be quite new. We had three rooms in our own wing. Breakfast was simple as with many places in Italy. If you expect to be waited on this may not be for you. Rooms were not cleaned during our 4 day stay but I was quite happy to be left in peace without the usual disturbance from hotel maids etc. Very friendly family. Would recommend to anyone looking for cheap, clean accommodation in a great location in Lecce.

B&B nel centro storico
Posizione molto comoda per poter visitare la città a piedi, la struttura è infatti situata nel bel mezzo del centro storico Purtroppo è ztl quindi la sera non è facilissimo muoversi in auto tra i pedoni. In ogni caso resta comunque comodissimo. La colazione è in linea con gli standard nazionali, tuttavia consiglierei ai gestori, per ottenere qualche punto in più, di valutare cornetti freschi e/o torte, dolci ecc. C'era il pasticciotto, ma per il resto tutti prodotti confezionati. Vanno bene, ma non permettono di distinguersi dalla concorrenza. La pulizia non era ottimale. Dalla finestra del bagno entravano cenere e sporcizia (all'esterno c'era un locale) che però la mattina non venivano puliti dal personale che si occupava di rifare le camere. Consigliamo di dedicare maggior cura a questo punto. Lo stesso vale per la sala dedicata alla colazione dove le tovaglie erano sempre macchiate. Per il resto i ragazzi sono sempre stati carini e disponibilissimi e ci hanno dato dei buoni consigli per il nostro viaggio. Li ringrazio e sono sicura che miglioreranno sempre più.

Siamo stati solo una notte. La stanza era molto ampia, ben atterrata e pulita. La posizione dell'albergo è perfetta in pieno centro e vicina ai ristoranti e locali. Io gestore che ci ha accolto è stato gentilissimo. Se passeremo di nuovo in città sicuramente ci torneremo.
