It was such a bonus to have a full apartment to stay in. And it was a very nice, spacious apartment. The staff communication was helpful but I was confused about the door code access. They give you one code that you use for the street side door and your room in the building. Unfortunately mine didn't work and I had to call to get entry a few times before getting a new card.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. Compared to a standard chain hotel, the boutique feel and design made it much more interesting and visually pleasing, and the overall vibe of the place was great. Check-in was easy and communication with the hosts was excellent. The bed was comfortable enough, and the space was generally pleasant, though there were a few things that could be improved. The room felt a little like it was designed by AI—beautiful to look at, but not always the most practical. There was no hand soap or obvious place to hang clothes, and the lack of hooks/storage was noticeable. Blackout curtains would also be a worthwhile addition for travellers who are sensitive to light. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues as well: the fridge wasn't cooling properly (possibly because the freezer compartment was iced over), and the rain shower didn't work, although that may have been related to water pressure in the building. Overall, though, we liked the hotel and would choose it over a generic chain hotel for the character and atmosphere. With a few practical improvements, it could be a really great stay.

The space was perfect for one person. Clean and comfortable with windows facing the street which allowed good light. The entrance and door are keyless so no worrying about losing a key. There was also laundry available on site. It is in Gastown so there are plenty of places to eat and shop. There is parking on site if needed but is also a 10 minute walk to the Waterfront Station and the buses are a block away so transportation is near. One caveat, there was no sound proofing so I could hear both my neighbors. They did abide by quiet times so it wasn't an issue unless you like to sleep in. I would book here again when in town.

Beware the area is very confronting! Heavy drug use everywhere! You do not feel safe in the area at all! The staff barely speak English . The check-in process is very clunky, especially when having to use Google Translate to communicate. 2 nights not good value at all . The rooms and beds are comfortable, and the linen and towels are fresh and new. Better to stay in a hotel, not in that area of gastown. Vancouver needs to clean up their drug problem.

The opportunity to stay in Gas-town was amazing and the location of the property was really nice... the communication between Hotels.com and the reservation team was difficult. However, I recieved a late checkout, and a very new, clean, and real loft with a great feel. I recommend to all visiting Gastown Vancouver, BC because you dont have to deal with a large hotel reception which was nice! Blessings, JMM

Overall great stay. If arrive at night, the keypad to the left of the gate that is lit up is not the right one. The black one closer to the gate has to be touched to activate.
